Chapter 26

Chapter 26;

Me and Jack approach the ballroom and I'm so nervous I don't wanna see Shawn right now but I'm going to take Jacks advice.

We walk in and take a seat beside Mahogany and Jack G, Shawn's sitting at a table behind me and I can feel him starring at me and it's uncomfortable. How could he do this? Boys are stupid, but he seemed so sweet and he doesn't seem like the type of guy to do that yet again we weren't actually dating so he could do that but it still hurt after everything he has told me over the days.

"Are you holding up?" Jack J whispers

"Yah I'm fine" I fake a smile

I'm actually hurting inside, does this actually happen to people? Of course it does it's how the world works these days. I get pulled out of my thoughts when I hear my favourite song playing, Photograph by Ed Sheeran why this song? I remember when Shawn was humming it that one time, just thinking about it makes me want to cry but I can't so I wont.

"Um want to dance?" Johnson asks

"Sure why not" I say getting up and following him threw the crowd of dancers until we're by the front, "I've never actually danced before" I say embarrassed

"Oh it's easy you just out your arms on my shoulders or around my neck or something and I put my hands on your waist" he smiles

I place my hands on his shoulders as he placed his on my waist and we start to move back and fourth, "I don't think we're doing it right" I laugh

"Yah we should stop" he says as we both pull apart and start laughing

"We're terrible" I smile

He nods his head and he starts to do a little dance but slowly,

"What are you doing?" I ask

"Slow dancing" he smiles

"Your a dork you know that" I laugh

"And your a loser so it's a tie" he smiles stopping and pulling me back to the table

"Zoey I'm sorry just let me explain" Shawn says stepping in front of us

"Hey! Shawn I don't think she wants to talk to you right now" Johnson speaks up and I give him a small smile

"So what you have a body guard now" he spits

"Shawn please not now" I whisper

"Whatever" he says walking away

Johnson pulls me into a hug yet again and try's go comfort me, "thank you" I whisper

"For what?" He asks

"Being there for me" I say

"You know anything for you" he smiles looking down at me

I smile and hug him one more time before we walk over to our table and sit down, "what time is it" he asks

"8:47" I say

"I'll be right back" he says him and Jack G get up and run towards the stage and start getting set up when he starts to speck through a microphone.

"So we decided we are going to sing something tonight for you and it's called Tides" Johnson smiles

Oh gosh.

They sing for about 3 minutes before handing the microphones over to some people and running back to our table.

At the last part of that song when he sang 'gotta keep your chin up, keep your head held high' he smiles and pointed at me

"Your weird" I laugh at him

"Thank you and so are you loser" he smiles

"Dork" I laugh
