The announcement that Athena and Bobby thought that they knew where Buck's sister was went over about as well as Eddie would've expected.

"What?! Where is she?!" Buck demanded immediately, all signs of sleepiness immediately gone.

"We don't know exactly where." Athena told him, "But she's with the league."

"How do you know that?!" Buck demanded, and Eddie thought he sounded like the words were being ripped straight out of him.

Bobby and Athena exchanged a look, "She's the one who broke us out of Thurmond." Bobby said after a moment's pause, "I'm sorry it took us so long to realise it, but we just never put the pieces together until now."

Buck wasn't listening anymore though, instead he'd swung his feet out of the bed and was now on his feet. He frantically was shoving his feet into sneakers and throwing his arms through a coat.

"Woah, hey! What're you doing?" Eddie asked, getting up himself.

Buck didn't even bother glancing up at him, "I'm going to go get her."

"No. No you aren't." Athena said immediately, stepping in front of the door to block his path.

"Athena get out of my way." Buck warned, now standing in front of her.

He looked dangerous just then, the air suddenly felt electric around them. Athena was dangerous too though, and she easily matched him, the air suddenly far warmer too. This needed to stop now before it escalated further.

He stepped quickly across the room, moving to stand between the two. He took the risk of reaching out and putting a hand on Buck's shoulder where it connected to his neck. There was a jolt that ran through him and it felt like a static shock, he didn't move his hand though.

"Hey, look at me." He ordered, and Buck's eyes snapped to his, "You need to stand down, you're going to hurt someone or get hurt yourself right now."

That seemed to snap him out of it a bit, and at least now the air wasn't so charged and touching him no longer felt like a continuous static shock.

"It isn't safe to go right now." Eddie continued, trying to get through to him, "You need to wait so we can make a plan. Then you can go, and I'll come with you. We'll go get her, I promise, we just can't do it right this second."

"We don't even know where the league is, we still need to figure it out." Bobby added, eyes flicking between him, Buck, and Athena warily.

"It's in Maryland." Buck waved Bobby off before refocusing on Eddie, "And I have a plan."

It'd been maybe a whole minute or two since he'd even found out where his sister was, so Eddie sincerely doubted that.

"What's your plan then?" He asked.

"My plan is to go get her." Buck shot back, which was pretty much exactly what he'd been expecting him to say.

"Wow, with that incredibly thought out and detailed plan there's no way you get caught!" Athena snorted derisively.

Buck turned a glare on her quickly, and Eddie squeezed his shoulder to bring his attention back to him, "What happens when you get caught after everything she did to make sure you escape, huh?" He points out, harsh but true, "Especially when, if you can wait a little bit, we can go together and with an actually thought out plan. I'm not trying to stop you Buck, I know what it's like to have a sister, I know what you're thinking. There's no point if you get caught though, you have to wait and you have to let me help, that's you're best chance at actually succeeding at getting Maddie."
