Things were slow going as they made their way through the woods, which was likely due to their various injuries. He knew his ankle wasn't exactly helping him move quickly.

It didn't hurt too much, and his mobility on it was alright. Overall he was pretty sure it wasn't even sprained, just twisted, it still wasn't at full function though.

After about 25 minutes, he looked over to Hen who nodded and said, "Alright guys. We're far enough away, we need to pause and triage."

Nobody disagreed with that, so they all sat down together by the trunk of a tree and he and Hen got to work. He started with Bobby, whose broken nose it was easy enough to fix with his blue powers. Bobby took the setting like a champ, only groaning for a second before catching his breath and thanking Chim.

No one else had any broken bones, which was good, so he moved onto Buck and gave him a quick concussion test. The kid passed it, even though he hadn't lost that dead eyed stare since he'd woken up after the crash. Chim suspected that that wasn't because of the concussion though, so he let the kid be. Buck would be fine for now.

Hen had taken off her shirt under her coat and had torn it into strips. She used some of them and a sturdy looking stick to splint Albert's wrist. It was likely sprained since Chim had checked it for breaks and hadn't found any.

Hen seemed to be ok for the most part. She hissed when he pressed on her ribs, but they weren't broken, just bruised. When it was his turn to get triaged, Hen wrapped up his ankle tightly in the strips of her shirt, but she didn't find any other injuries on him other than some mild bruised and scrapes. All things considered, they'd made it out in pretty good condition.

They sort of sat in silence for a minute after he and Hen had finished fixing everyone up. Just breathing and letting the situation wash over them. He couldn't tell if they were in a worse or better situation than the one they'd been in before.

It was Buck who broke the silence, with his haunted expression and whisper of a voice to ask, "Where are we?"

They didn't really have an answer to that, but Bobby tried anyway.

"We don't really know, but if I had to guess, we're still in the south somewhere." He tried, looking around at the woods around him.

"He's right," Hen agreed, "The temperature is right, and Maryland is about as North as the South goes, and we were on the train for a while so I think it's a safe bet to say we were heading South."

"I haven't seen any Mountains." Albert piped up, "So I think we can rule out the areas near the Blue Ridge mountains."

That was unfortunate, since the 118 was set snuggly in amongst the mountain territory of North Carolina.

"I guess the question now is if we ended up East or West of the Mountains." Chim contributed, "Anyone got any ideas on how we can figure out that? And also find ourselves transportation back to the others?"

"We find the nearest road or river." Bobby said, then we follow it. Eventually we'll come across a hopefully abandoned town. We can find a fire house or police station there and find maps and hopefully transportation."

"We really only have one routine, don't we." Chim joked lightly, and it got a couple smiles out of the others.

"Hey, you don't fix what isn't broken." Bobby shrugged, playing along, "Unless anyone's got a better idea? I'm all ears."

They all shook their heads. Bobby's plan was as good as they were going to get right now. Helpfully whatever civilization they found was abandoned though. Their odds were good, the south had a lot of small and now abandoned towns scattered around.
