"BAEKHYUN! STOP!"
Chanyeol pushed Baekhyun away. Baek stumbled back, looking down at the ground, tears threatening to fall.
Chanyeol sadly looked at him beginning to shake his head.
No...I have to be strong!
He told himself. He pushed past Baekhyun, walking away.
He suddenly felt a weak, cold hand grip onto his wrist. He looked back at Baek, Baek looking up at him.
"Please...."
Baekhyun looked up at him with sorrowful eyes, tears already rolling down his red marked face. Chanyeol thought a slap from a fan of his was enough, but Baekhyun wouldn't let his love fade even slightly.
Baekhyun squeezed Chanyeol
wrist weakly, opening his dry lips and whispered,
"Pretend you love me...."
Baekhyun couldn't take it. His love was too much. He didn't care if it was true or false love anymore, he just needed love.
Chanyeol scoffed, turning his head back to see if anyone was witnessing Baek's embarrassing confession.
"No! Leave me alo-"
Chanyeol stopped mid-sentence, feeling Baek's hand slip down to his own. He let out a little gasp as Baek knitted his fingers with Chan's. Baek looked down at their hands, a tear falling onto Chan's hand.
"Pretend for me...."
Chan couldn't fight it. He ripped his hand away, dusting off his shirt where Baek had hugged him.
Chan looked at Baekhyun, giving him a angry look, or so he tried to. Chanyeol tried to act mad, but he was trying to hide the pain he was going through.
He had seen Baekhyun get beaten by his fans
before, that was only because he was trying to sneak a love letter into Chan's Locker. Imagine what they'd do if he and Baekhyun were dating. He'd have to be with Baekhyun 24/7, but with his band, he wouldn't be able to. What would happen when Baekhyun wasn't with Chan, what if Baekhyun got hurt from one of Chan's fans?
Chan couldn't risk Baekhyun being hurt. He now was trying to act like a jerk, so maybe Baekhyun would change his mind and leave. But, to his surprise Baekhyun wasn't giving up.
"Leave me alone."
Chanyeol bit his lip. What he had just said hit Baekhyun hard, he could tell. Baekhyun was now far from crying, he was sobbing. He was quietly sobbing as Chanyeol said hurtful things.
Chanyeol's heart ached. Seeing Baekhyun like this was like being crushed, but was even worse was he was the cause of it.
Chan thought for a moment. He hesitantly pulled Baek into a hug, rubbing his back comfortingly. Chanyeol couldn't stand it when people cried, it hurt him a lot. Especially when it was the one he loved, especially when it was Baekhyun.
"O-One date. One d-date is all I ask of you..."
Baekhyun muffled into Chanyeol's jacket. Chan nodded, as Baekhyun hugged onto his waist tightly. Chan lifted his hand, playing with Baek's hair.
"Then we'll go on one date."
