Exiting the car, Isla gently closed the door behind her, her eyes taking in the solemn surroundings of the cemetery. A small, bittersweet smile curled on her lips as she turned her head towards Wonwoo, extending her hand towards him, her heart racing. "What's this for?" He asked, a playful quirk to his eyebrow after his gaze had lingered on her outstretched hand.

"Can I hold your hand? I'm feeling a bit nervous," Isla admitted, her voice betraying a mix of anticipation and vulnerability. Her request tugged at a corner of Wonwoo's lips, eliciting a soft chuckle. "Of course, you can," he permitted, his eyes crinkling as a fond smile graced his features. The two hands met and interlocked, their fingers fitting together like pieces of a puzzle.

Walking side by side, as they approached Elyse's resting place, Isla's gaze suddenly caught on a familiar figure standing near the woman's grave. The smile that had adorned her lips began to fade, the atmosphere suddenly heavy, as she recognized her brother, Joshua, placing a delicate flower on Elyse's final resting place. Her heart ached at the sight, the contrast of the fresh bloom against the somber backdrop.

Joshua's lips curved into a sad smile as he stood up, dusting his hands off. But as his eyes flickered towards where Isla and Wonwoo stood, his expression wavered, a mix of surprise and something akin to guilt dancing in his eyes as he witnessed them holding hands.

"Wonwoo, Isla?" Isla immediately released her lover's hand, her heart pounding, and hastened towards her brother, tears welling up in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, her sobs echoing in the quiet cemetery. "You idiot, why did you bear this burden alone?" She cried out, her voice choked with emotion, the pain of not being there for him all these while hitting her hard.

Caught off guard, Joshua stood still, his heart a turmoil of emotions. Finally, he surrendered to her embrace, his arms enveloping her in a protective hug. A solitary tear slipped down his cheek. "I didn't want you to worry, Isla. You have your own life to live," he whispered, his voice heavy with the weight he had carried on his shoulders.

Isla shook her head against his chest, her tears staining his shirt. "You're my brother. I don't want you to suffer alone," she mumbled, pulling back to meet his gaze, determination shining through her teary eyes.

"I'm doing better now," Joshua said, his voice tinged with sadness, yet also a hint of resolve. "And I've come to believe that Elyse is in a place of comfort, where she's happy and whole." His attempt to reassure her only deepened the ache in Isla's heart, knowing how much he must have struggled.

As if on cue, Joshua's tone shifted, a mischievous glint entering his eyes. "Oh, by the way, what's with the hand-holding with Wonwoo?" He asked, raising an eyebrow playfully, a sly grin tugging at his lips. Isla's nervous gaze darted to Wonwoo, who was scratching the back of his neck in a slightly embarrassed manner.

Isla cleared her throat, feeling her cheeks flush. "Well, he's courting me," she admitted, her voice a mixture of shyness and determination. Joshua's reaction was nothing short of priceless. His eyes widened in disbelief, his jaw nearly hitting the ground as he processed the revelation that his best friend and his sister were now romantically involved.

A huff of laughter escaped from Wonwoo as he defended himself, "Just to be clear, I didn't have feelings for her when she was underage. It was only after she became legal that my feelings developed." His attempt to clarify the timeline had a humorous edge, attempting to diffuse the situation with levity.

Amidst the conversation, Joshua's gaze shifted towards Elyse's tombstone, a mix of emotions playing on his features. "You're listening to all of this up there, aren't you, Ely?" He says, knowing that she's probably listening in the afterlife and enjoying the drama with popcorn in her hands. 

"Our Isabella is dating your cousin, Wonwoo."
