"Hey! Watch out for your head!" Scolding the wild woman, Cyra, who had leaned out of the passenger seat, her hands outstretched to catch the wind as it tousled her hair. "Babe, you seriously need to calm down," Soonyoung, who was driving, implored, his attention divided between the road ahead and his carefree girlfriend.

"Fine," Cyra pouted, reluctantly withdrawing back into her seat and rolling up the car window. The group, including Isla and their circle of friends, was en route to the resort that Seungcheol had rented out for the weekend. "They're completely out of their minds," Wonwoo whispered into Isla's ear, earning a nod of agreement from her.

Isla and Wonwoo had joined Soonyoung's vehicle, while the rest of their friends rode with Jeonghan. The engaged couple, Seungcheol and Stella, had already arrived at the resort, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their friends.

After an hour of driving, they finally reached their destination. Isla and Wonwoo found their designated room and settled in, with Isla immediately flopping onto the bed in exhaustion, while Wonwoo organized their belongings at the side of the room.

"Are you tired?" Wonwoo asked, approaching the bed where Isla lay and sitting on the edge, his gaze fixed tenderly on his weary partner. "Mhm," Isla hummed softly, her eyelids drooping with fatigue. "I can't believe how crazy those two are," she added wearily before succumbing to sleep, her eyes fluttering closed.

Chuckling at Isla's remark, Wonwoo nodded and rose to his feet. "I'll go take a quick shower," he announced, receiving a drowsy nod from Isla as he made his way to the bathroom.

As soon as he left, Isla sat up, letting out a sigh as she cast her gaze toward the balcony that adorned their room. She rose from the bed, her feet carrying her to the sliding door, which she opened before stepping out onto the balcony.

Before her stretched the breathtaking expanse of the sea, birds soaring against the backdrop of a sky painted with hues of blue and scattered clouds. The wind tugged gently at her hair, and as the breeze caressed her face, Isla couldn't help but smile, her heart brimming with a sense of contentment.

Time slipped away unnoticed, and only when she felt strong arms encircle her from behind did she realize that Wonwoo had finished his shower. A gasp escaped her lips, her heartbeat quickening as she instinctively leaned into his embrace, his familiar smile warming her heart.

"Hi," he greeted simply, his tone laden with sweetness, causing a delighted giggle to bubble up from Isla's lips. "Hello," she responded with a playful smile, hugging him back with an affection that spoke volumes. With Wonwoo, she felt safe, cherished, and utterly herself.

"Wonwoo, what if I never gave you an answer, even after years have passed?" She began, her head finding a comfortable resting place against his chest. The question hung in the air, and she felt his body tense slightly in response.

"Hm, I'd wait," he replied gently, his voice carrying an unshakeable conviction. "I'd wait for you, no matter how long it took. Because waiting for you would always be worth it." His words caused Isla's heart to flutter, and she lifted her head to meet his gaze, her smile a mixture of tenderness and admiration.

"Wonwoo, let's put a stop to this uncertainty," she whispered, her words enveloped in a newfound determination. His brow furrowed, confusion clouding his eyes as he tried to comprehend her sudden shift in tone and intention.

"What do you mean?" He asked, his voice tinged with a hint of melancholy as he searched her eyes for answers he couldn't quite grasp. "Let's make this official," she said with a soft smile, her fingers gently cupping his cheeks as she leaned in, her lips finding him in a tender kiss.

Realization dawned on him, and he surrendered to the kiss, his arm wrapping around her waist as he pulled her closer, and his free placed on the back of her neck. With each passing second, the kiss deepened, a testament to the depth of their connection and the unspoken feelings that bound them together.

"You're going to be the death of me, Isla," he breathed against her lips when they finally broke apart, his words a mixture of exasperation and affection that sent shivers down her spine. Isla pulled back slightly, her eyes locked onto him, seeking the meaning behind his words.

"Why?" She inquired, a hint of confusion in her voice as she searched his gaze for answers. A small smile curved his lips, his eyes shimmering with a tenderness that spoke of his unwavering love and admiration.

"Because every time I look at you, I'm reminded of how incredibly fortunate I am to be loved by a woman as extraordinary as you. It's like you're a gift from the heavens above."
