"Get up," Joshua entered the room and spotted his younger sister, who was lying on the ground hiding behind the coffee table. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your university?" She sarcastically replied, rolling her eyes as she sat up to face her brother.

"Mom told me I should be looking after you while they're out on a business trip," her brother said, motioning for her to stand up, but she refused. "No," she pouted, shaking her head as she spoke. "Have you forgotten that we'll be having dinner outside with my friends?" Joshua reminded her, and Isla bit her lower lip as she stared up at him.

"Who's coming?" she asked. "Hey, didn't Wonwoo invite you before he left?" He raised an eyebrow, scoffing at his sister in disbelief. "You're no use," Isla grumbled, laying back on the ground.

"Wonwoo is the one who invited you. So, of course, he'd be there," Isla sat back up, her eyes brightening when her brother mentioned his name. "Okay, I'll get ready now," she replied with enthusiasm. "You have three minutes," he said, causing Isla to shoot him a glare.

"Fine, five," he added, but Isla shook her head and continued to glare at him. "Okay, fine! Thirty minutes it is!" Therefore, Isla smiled brightly and stood up, heading to the second floor where her room is located.

Sitting in the passenger seat as her brother drove, Isla let out a huff as she sank into her seat. She only saw two of her brother's friends, Jeonghan and Seungcheol. "Hey, why is your sister so quiet?" Jeonghan started, causing Isla to roll her eyes in annoyance.

"She wasn't like this the last time we met her." Seungcheol and Jeonghan were Joshua's roommates at the university's dorm. "Shut up, Han," she said, pulling the strings of her hoodie so her face would be covered. The four were close since Joshua often hung out with them.

Seeing her brother park at the side of the road, Isla furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What are we doing here—" Before she could finish her sentence, Isla spotted a familiar face sitting on the stairs in front of the building.

Hearing her brother honk the car horn, the man flinched, immediately standing up and heading to the car after waking up from his nap. "Wonwoo, what did we tell you about overworking?" Seungcheol deadpanned, staring at the man who was entering the vehicle.

"I still haven't slept properly," Wonwoo let out a sigh, sitting beside Jeonghan and leaning on him as he closed his eyes. "What about the others? Where are they?" He questioned without opening his eyes. "They're already there. All of us are complete," Joshua informed.

"Are you sure you're okay with me tagging along?" Isla questioned, gazing at her brother as he continued to drive. "Of course, they're okay with you tagging along. You're like their little sister," she heard Wonwoo answer instead of her brother, whose gaze was fixated on the road.

"Have you forgotten that I'm the one who invited you? Because I'll be the one treating you all?" Isla frowned, never informed that Wonwoo was the one who would be paying for their dinner. "Why? Is there something going on?" she asked out of curiosity, wondering why Wonwoo invited them for dinner if there was any special occasion.

"I'll tell you about it later on," Isla huffed, crossing her arms as she leaned on the car seat and gazed out of the window. She wondered if it would be awkward to see Joshua's friends after a year without seeing them.

Joshua and his circle of friends always hung around their house, except for Wonwoo, who was always busy with academics and work. He worked at his father's company from time to time to earn his own money.

"Wonwoo-ah, you're already in your second year of college. Yet, you've never had a girlfriend?" Jeonghan started, causing Wonwoo to laugh. "Many girls are chasing after me. I guess it's because of my looks and charm," he gloated, making the three of them groan in disgust, except for Isla, who was used to their conversation.

"Am I right, Isla?" he suddenly questioned the woman sitting in the passenger seat, shifting closer to her seat from behind and leaning his arm on the headrest.

"You think I'm handsome, right?"
