Time: the day after the school dance..

I was walking to school, alone.

I'll try to explain to Reshes today..

As I arrived at the stairway, I heard running.

I looked up, to see Sada running to me, with Turo desperately trying to keep up with her.

'Hey gu-', I started, but was cut off by Sada slapping across the face.

I turned my head back to her, seeing her furious.

'What?', I said, pure confusion.

'Don't "what" me after what you did yesterday!'

Shit! She knows..

'Look, I just want to talk to Reshes', I said, looking around for her, 'do you know where she is?'

'She isn't coming..', Turo said shyly, not liking fights.

'Why not?', I asked out of worry.

'Put the pieces together Sherlock! She doesn't want to see you at all!', Sada yelled.

'But her parents wouldn't allow it?', I asked, wanting more hope.

'Well after she came home crying, they allowed without second thought'

And with that my heart sank to the bottom of the earth.

She.. came home crying.. what have I done.?

I walked to Reshes' house, hoping to talk to her.

Knocking on the front door wasn't the best thing I had done in a while, with my heart aching and my legs wobbling.

The door slowly creaked open, to reveal Martín from behind the door.

'Hey Martín.. could I come in.?'

'No.'

I don't know what surprised me more, his response or with how much hate he was staring at me.

'You made my sister cry, you're no longer welcome in this house', and with that, he slammed the door shut.

I started to walk away in defeat, but then remembered something.

There was a tree that would lead to Reshes' bedroom window.

I ran towards the tree, hiding behind it.

'Woof!'

I looked up, to see fidough.

Perfect

I grabbed some paper and a pen from my bag, and started thinking of what to write.

But I was writing without thinking.

Dear Reshes,

I'm sorry for everything I said and did yesterday, I really didn't mean to hurt you in anyway.

I know I messed up big time, and I know that you'll probably won't forgive me for everything, and I don't blame you, I can't forgive myself.

Please just come back to school, not seeing you makes my days worse than you would ever know.

Sada and Turo are missing you too, and that slap of Sada is still printed on my cheek.

All I wanted to say is, I'm sorry, really sorry.

I would've said it to you in person, but you probably won't get out of your room, and Martín had informed me that I was banned from your house.

As I had finished, I realised a few tear drops had landed on the paper.

I gently rolled up my note and gave it to fidough.

After explaining the plan, fidough climbed the tree and started scratching the closed window.

I watched as the window opened, Reshes grabbed the note and gently petted fidough, before looking confused at the note and closing the window.

I let out a sigh of relief, knowing she got the letter.

I had tried to text, call and more, but she had blocked me on everything, sadly.
