New times, old friends

Time: after the divorce 

I finally had bought a small building to make into my new bakery, but I wasn't sure about a name.

Walking through the plains gave me a clear mind, something I didn't have for a long time.

Thomas' bakery? Nah too cliché.. hot buns? Nice but could also be a porn site..

I looked to my side to see a mother dachsbun with her baby fidoughs, one shiny and one not.

But as I looked closer, I saw a little bracelet on dachsbuns paw.

I hadn't seen my friend fidough anymore since I send Reshes the note.

'Bud?'

Dachsbun looked up at me, confused.

Curiously she walked over to me and sniffed my hand, only for me to get tackled by her and getting licked in the face.

'Hi! Yes I missed you too!'

While her little fidoughs were staring at it all.

I sat by a tree, watching as the fidoughs played.

But my mind was else where.

'Woof'

I looked at dachsbun, who was sitting in front of me, with her pups next to her.

Then it hit me.

Dachsbun and the fidoughs! And they'll become my mascots!

I tried to explain it to dachsbun, and she seemed to get it, so I reached into my bag, to see a single pokeball.

I held up the pokeball to dachsbun, which she lightly head butted.

After I caught her, I bought 2 more pokeballs and caught the little pups as well.

'Man this work is tough..', I groaned, lifting the 20th bag of wheat.

Other than work and money, a bakers job also comes with a free gym membership, by lifting and carrying multiple heavy bags of wheat or sugar.

But as time went on, me and my colleagues would have a competition with who could carry the most bags in one trip from the back all the way to the front.

I usually won..

Looking into the bakery, with dachsbun and the fidoughs greeting customers, a Karen came up.

I tried to help her, but she kept insisting that I was doing MY job wrong.

'I want to speak to your manager!'

'You are speaking to the manager', I coldly said.

'I mean your boss!'

'I am the boss, I own this entire building and bakery'

That left her stunned.

'I'll never buy here again'

'K, bye!'

'You're not going t-'

'Bye!'

'Bu-'

'Bye!'
