Time: before "I'll prove you wrong"

'Tell me more about Sada', I said, while walking back home with Turo.

Turo thought for a moment.

'She's the daughter of the Wooloo Wollery's owner'

'Isn't the Wooloo Wollery your parents rival?'

'Well yes, but-'

'Dude!'

'What!'

I stared at him.

'You're dating the daughter of the rival of your parents!'

'So?', he asked dumbfounded.

I groaned.

'I know you're old school, meaning you'll want her parents approval to take her hand in marriage'

'Mhm?'

'Do you think her parents will approve it if she marry's into the family of their rival!

He seemed very interested in the noses of his shoes.

'Well, no..', he said with a little voice.

'But it's worth a try', he said, smiling at me.

I sighed.

'You're very optimistic'

'Also! Me, Sada and Reshes are going to the arcade tonight, wanna come along?'

'Not sure if my parents would like that'

He pushed a piece of paper into my hands.

'What?'

'Reshes' number', he said with a smirk.

Heat rose up to my cheeks.

'Why do you-'

'I saw the way you looked at her!'

'You fucker', I said, giving him a punch in the shoulder.

'Father'

He looked up at me.

'Yes?'

'My friends invited me to go to the arcade with them'

'What's the question Thomas'

I stared at my feet.

'If I had permission to go with them'

He turned to look at my mother.

In silence they discussed.

'Be home before 10 pm', he said.

'Thank you!', I said, happier then ever.

'But no minute later'

I gulped.

'Yes father'

I entered the arcade.

Truly amazed by the arcade, I looked for my friends.

'Thom!'

Before I could turn around, I was tackled to the ground.

'Turo get off of me!', I yelled, nearly getting crushed by him.

I was crushing the dance machine.

The old high score was quickly beaten by me.

'You're like the dancing king', Turo said.

'I wouldn't call myself a king, but-'

'He sucks compared to me'

Everyone turned to Reshes.

'Ha!', I said, not believing her.

'How about a little competition?'

'Challenge accepted'

'Told you'

I stared in disbelief at the score.

'Beginners luck', I said.

Reshes burst into laughter.

'I've done this for the past two years'

'Well-', I tried, but my eyes widen as I looked over at the clock.

11:38 pm.

Turo seemed to sense my sudden stress.

'Thom?'

'I have to go', I said, colder then I intended.

My friends looked at me in confusion.

'You sur-', Reshes tried.

'I'm fine!', I yelled out, cutting her off.

I ran out of the arcade.

Slowly I opened the front door, nervously stepping in.

As I closed the door, the hope that my parents were asleep and didn't know about my late home coming.

That hope faded away as I heard someone clear their throat behind me.

I turned to them, to see my father standing against the wall.

'What time is it?', he demanded.

I stared at the clock.

'11:42', I mumbled in fear.

His hand flew across my face.

'What did you say?'

'11:42', I said louder.

He started laughing like a lunatic.

'I thought I said 10 pm, at its latest'

'I-'

He hit me again, making me fall back.

I looked up at him in fear.

He undid his belt.

I tried to shield off my face with my arms.

I laid on the floor, until I heard a drawer open.

My eyes widen as I watch my father grab a knife.

Tears were starting to fall down.

I waddled into my room, shaking from pain.

A fidough crawled into my room via an opened window.

'Hey bud', I brought out, dropping down onto the wooden floor.

This fidough and I were amazing friends, tho my parents don't want me to own a pokemon.

It often healed me with its heal pulse.

But no time did it heal anything, only temporary numb the pain.

It did heal pulse, making me able to crawl into bed.

I pulled fidough into a hug, thanking it and saying goodbye before I was completely knocked out.
