"he can feed himself, right?" seungmin asks, voice lowered as he looks over to daehyun and hyunjin who were currently play wrestling on the living room floor. seulgi laughs.

"he's nine, not a toddler." she answers.

"i don't know what nine year olds can and can't do." he defends.

"he can do most things. i mean, what did you do when you were nine?" she asks, still laughing.

"i don't even remember what i did last week." seungmin shrugs.

"okay, look. as long as you keep him entertained, and fed, he'll be fine. and he eats just about anything, so don't over think that." she tells him.

"how do i keep him entertained?"

"put on the t.v., give him your phone, let him play in the backyard, literally anything. just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get hurt or anything."

"what if he does get hurt?"

"you can call me or hyunjin, but seungmin, he's a smart kid, he won't give you a hard time. and hyunjin and i will be back in a few hours." she reassures him.

"yeah okay, i got this." he tells her, suddenly regaining his composure.

"alright, daehyun!" she calls him over.

"yeah?" he questions, out of breath from his play fight with hyunjin.

"seungmin is going to watch you for a few hours while hyunjin and i meet with minho and jisung, be good to him please, he's nervous." she chuckles, patting his head.

"i'm not nervous." seungmin crosses his arms. "and that's uncle seungmin to you." he adds, now talking to daehyun.

"okay, uncle seungmin... let's play tag! tag, you're it!" he giggles, poking seungmin on the arm before running up the stairs. seulgi watches with an amused smirk.

"well, you better go get him, uncle seungmin." she teases.

"shut up." he rolls his eyes before running up the stairs himself, chasing after daehyun.

"i told you he's really a big softie." hyunjin says, slinging his arm around seulgi as he walks up to her.

"he reminds me of minho." she chuckles.

"are you ready to go? minho said they'll be at the restaurant in fifteen minutes." he places a kiss on her cheek.

"yeah, let's do this. i'm excited to meet jisung." she turns his face so that she could pull him in to a proper kiss. smiles taking over their faces as their lips touch, the two of them feeling their bodies ignite with heat. but seulgi pulled away, now was not the time.

"me too." hyunjin whispers, blinking away the desire that swirled in his eyes.

"let's get through dinner first." seulgi teases, seductively pulling her bottom lip between her teeth. suddenly, hyunjin wished he had the ability to speed up time. "we're leaving seungmin!" she calls out.
