Tiana

"When is daddy getting here?" I asked before frowning. I got back from school a little while ago. I expected daddy to pick me up but he couldn't because he was still busy at work so Lauren did it.

I honestly didn't like Lauren.

She's never done anything wrong to me, besides being with my Dad is all, which I don't think I will be forgiving her for until she breaks up with him.

Yes, that will make everything so much better. And then mommy and daddy will live happily ever after and then they'll get back together, get married, and I'll have a baby sister.

Magic.

"Darling, you've been staring at me for a while. Did I do anything?" She laughed.

Yes.

"No..I'm just wondering when my dad will get back from his job." I said putting emphasis on, my.

"Actually he's on his way." She said taking off her sunglasses.

"What is your job?" I asked her.

"I'm a model, sweetie."

"Then I guess my mom should be a model too." I said back.

Lauren turned to look at me. "Excuse me?"

"My mom is beautiful. So she could be a model too. Aren't models pretty?" I asked her.

What was she getting all offended for?

She looked at me a little bit before turning away.

"You talk about your mother a lot, I've noticed." Lauren smiled. Roquelle must be a very good woman.

"Yeah because she's the best. Ever...."

"Really?" Lauren asked.

"Yeah..sometimes I wonder why my parents are not together.."

I was putting a lot of emphasis on my words.

"You know darling, some things are just not meant to be."

"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, its meant to be." I shot back.

She really hoped Lauren was getting the hints.

Lauren grinned. She saw that Tiana was coming from a place of hurt. So that's why she was going off on the mouth like that.

Its just a matter of patience. Tiana would like her one day, she believed.

In walked daddy setting his suitcase down and looking around. He came by and kissed Laurens cheek. "Where's Tiana?" He asked.

I hopped off the couch. "Right here, dad."

"You are very tiny.." He chuckled. I ran to him and engulfed him a hug. "I missed you, dad. What took you so long? I was getting soooo bored." I said glancing at Lauren before looking at my Father's face with a smile.

"I had a business conference today."

"That sounds boring.."

"It is. Anyway, I'll be right back. Wait," he said taking out His phone.

"Woaaah is that the 6?" I asked.

"Yes it is." He said typing on it.

"When can I get a phone..?" I pouted.

"Whatever year your mom said you could." Justin said.

I groaned. Mommy said I couldn't have a phone until I was 12 because of reasons.
