Roquelle

"It really is such a blessing to have you here, today. Landon will not shut up about you." Mrs. Johnson said rolling her eyes.

"She's right." Landon's dad said sighing.

I guess he says a lot.

We were sitting at the dining table and Landon didn't even look the slightest embarrassed at the fact that his parents were exposing him.

"Thanks for coming babe," Landon said to me. "It was no problem."

The rest of dinner went by with Mrs.Johnson going on about why I was even with Landon considering he's a goofball. We also talked about my daughter Tiana and Landon kept going on about how sweet and adorable she was. His family is so amazing.

I wasn't really nervous to meet his parents, he told me before that they were very accepting and cool people, so I loosened up a bit.

He also has an older sister that lives in the UK.

*Narrator*

"Tiana stop spinning around, I don't want you throwing up on the floor." Justin said taking his eyes off the screen for a second to look at Tiana.

The both of them were in his office at home. Justin was alone at first but Tiana came in when she couldn't find him anywhere.

She thought Justin had left to go to work when instead he was working from home instead. "I'm bored." She said finally stopping spinning in the revolving chair.

She hopped off the chair and climbed into my lap. "Woahhh that looks like a lot of work.." Tiana giggled looking at the many words on the laptop screen.

"It takes getting used to." justin chuckled. Jusyin looked at his watch. "Its still early. Why don't you go to bed? You didn't have to wake up so early."

"I know but I just wanted to be with you." Tiana said resting her head on Justin's shoulder. I guess that's not bad, justin thought.

"Dad there's been something I been wanting to ask." Tiana asked.

"Mhm?"

"My school is having a Father daughter dance and I was wondering if you could come. That would be cool. I mean,I have a dad now so.."

A father-daughter dance? Alright I guess. It seems very special to Tiana so I'll go.

"I'll go."

"Y-youll come? omg yay!" Tiana wrapped her arms around Justin's neck and kissed his cheek. "I can't wait to tell mommy. Thank you, thank you, thank you." Tiana said again.

"No problem, Tiana." Justin smiled. He was happy to know that he was doing a great job and that he was putting a smile on His daughter's face.

"I love you dad, you're the best!" Tiana said with a warm smile to add.

"I love you too, Tiana." Justin replied.

He really meant it.

Tiana was very short led that he said this, but her happiness overweighed the shock and she was just filled with joy at the moment.

I'm gonna dance with daddy, I'm gonna dance with daddy. She sang in her head.

While Justin did his work, Tiana fell sound asleep with her head on his chest and her arms around his neck. When Justin was done, he shut off his laptop, took Tiana into her room and tucked her back into bed.

____

"Justin, that really is nice of what you did." Pattie said to her son as they sat in the living room.

"Yeah, I thought I should."

"I hope you're not putting any pressure on yourself or anything.."

"I really want to be a good father to,Tiana. It's the least I could do, really. "

"That's my son." Pattie said kissing Justin on the cheek before opening up a magazine.

"Hi daddy, hi grand-grand." We saw Tiana on the top of the spiral staircase. "I've been waiting all morning for you, come down sweetie." Pattie smiled and waved her grand daughter over.

"Come on, I'll make you breakfast to eat." She said taking Tiana's hand.

Pattie loved Tiana to bits. Not only because she was super adorable, but because she was a product of her son and Roquelle who she adored as well.

Pattie always thought that if her son would ever settle down, it would be with Roquelle. Well fortunately they have a child together, but there was one thing.

They weren't together.

So she could understand the six years apart thing. The fact that they were definitely too immature to raise a child and Justin didn't want or care for one at that time which resulted in Roquelle raising Tiana by herself.

One thing Pattie was sure of, was that things were going to turn around soon. Now she's not thinking that Lauren isn't good for her son, she's decent..

But Justin and Roquelle had a strong past and Pattie just saw Roquelle as.......,

Better.

There was pretty much nothing else to it.

____

"He said yes?" Roquelle asked Tiana over the phone.

"Yes! Mommy I'm so so happy. I thought he was gonna say no and stuff.I was so scared."

"Did you say, thank you to him?" Roquelle chuckled. Her daughter so happy brought a smile on here.

"Yes. Daddy said he loved me too."

"Aww that's so lovely. You're having a good time too, right?" She asked. Roquelle also knew Pattie was still there.

"Yes. Grandma is taking me shopping today for a dress for the dance."

"Isn't it next Friday?"

"Yeah but grandma said dress shopping is really hard so we should start looking."

"Alrighty then."

"Mommy, grandma talks a lot about you."

"I bet she does. We've known each other for a long time."

"Wow."

"Sweetie I have to talk to you later, tell everyone I said hi. Kiss, kiss."

"Muah!"
