Just then, the doorbell rang . Justin smirked and roquelle cleared her throat and awkwardly made her way to the door . Before opening, roquelle whispered a quick prayer.
She was greeted by the sight of Landon's handsome face and before she could open her mouth to speak, landon kissed her. "Missed you." He grinned.
Roquelle smiled but then frowned. "Hey landon? um.." She began. Landon creased his eyebrows. "Yeah?"
"Well, i know this dinner was supposed-"
"Youre not cancelling are you? Because i really love your cooking." He cut her.
"No." she laughed. "But Justin and Tiana are over. They were supposed to come tomorrow but, change of plans i guess ." Roquelle explained.
Landon bit the inside of his cheek. "Thats okay, dont worry. Im cool with it." He kissed Roquelle's forehead.
Roquelle then smiled and opened the door wider for Landon to come in. "God, it smells so heavenly in here.." Landon said following the delicious smell into the dining room, where his eyes landed on Justin. Justin was casually on the phone with Melissa, talking about his upcoming conference.
When justin felt a presence, he turned around. But when he saw that it was just landon, he resumed his conversation.
"Hello to you too.." Landon softly chuckled.
Tiana jogged down the stairs and when she saw Landon, her face it up. "Landon!" She yelled.
"Thats my name, dont wear it out." Landon laughed.
Tiana ran up to him and bear hugged him. "Havent seen you in like, forever!' Tiana cheesed. "How did you survive?" Landon smiled.
Tiana shrugged. "Its been hard, landon."
Justin saw this and raised a sharp eyebrow. My little girl even has a nickname for him? He thought.
"Did you bring 'em?" Tiana whispered. "Business in the front, bubblegum in the back." Landon smirked.
Tiana squealed and landon moved his hand from his back and showed her the gum. "Eeek youre the best!" Tiana said taking it and running to the living room, hiding it under a couch pillow .
Justin bit his lip.
"I'll call you back, Melissa.."
"I know you gave her something, landon." Roquelle said coming into the kitchen. She was also aware of Tiana's tiny crush on him as well.
"Baby, stop assuming." Landon gave her a playful grin. "Mhm.."
Justin was really not liking this dude right now and he watched him like a hawk.
Landon saw this an went behind roquelle, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Baby hurry up, im starving..." He moaned in her ear. It sent chills and made the blood rush to her cheeks.
"Give me a second, Landon." She said. Landon looked at Justin and saw that the tip of Justin's ears were red. Landon definitely hadnt forgot that justin made a move on roquelle, ad he needed justin to understand that roquelle has moved on.
Justin felt disrespected.
Even though roquelle technically wasnt his at the moment,he felt that landon was all over his property. Roquelle sat the plats down onto the table and everyone took their seats.
Landon sat next to roquelle and was facing justin, and tiana sat next to her father while facing her Mother.
"Yessss mommyy.." Tiana said clapping her hands together at the food on her plate.
