*Christmas Eve*

"The turkey is ready!'' I said hurriedly going into the kitchen.

"mommy, who's coming, again?'' Tiana asked following me.

"landon, Your father and his girlfriend, and your friends, Ciara and Matilda who live next door, remember?'' I asked her.

Their Mom, Diana, who was also a friend of mine, was coming over to help me finish cooking, and also bring in some stuff.

I really wanted this Christmas Eve part to be special and I felt so far, that I was doing a good job setting it up.

"Oh about dad, you know him and Lauren might be getting married soon?'' Tina asked as she hopped on a revolving chair and spun around.

-narrator-

Roquelle was kind of taken back. "how do you know?'' She asked furrowing her eyebrows.

"I heard lauren talking about it on the phone.."

"Well..thats wonderful..Tiana what would you like for breakfast?"Roquelle asked, taking her mind off the idea.

"Eggs and bacon, come on, mom."Tiana said making Roquelle chuckle.

"Good, because we've mysteriously run out of fruity pebbles."

-Narrator-
-hours later-

"Thank you so much, Diana for coming." I said to my friend as her daughters giggled and ran up the stairs to Tiana bedroom. They knew their way around this house very well.

"It's not problem, Roquelle." She said. I smiled at her and we began to chat as I lead her to the kitchen so we could prepare the food. She also brought some food she made as well to contribute.

"It seems lie you the whole neighborhood is coming to this thing." Diana chuckled.

"I wouldn't say that..just many friends that I have."

"Is baby daddy coming?" Diana asked me with a smirk. She knows about Justin because she's seen him and Tiana walk out of my house whenever he comes to pick her up. "Yes he is.."

"And your boo thang, Landon? Mm mm girl."

Diana is always trying to start something.

"Nothing is going to happen, D." I laughed.

After Diana helped me wrapping the food and such, her and her kids left. They would be coming around this evening for the party, though.

"Bye Ti-Ti!" Ciara yelled at Tiana on the stairs. Matilda waved and Tiana waved back.

"Where is he?" Roquelle rolled her eyes as she looked at the time. Landon was supposed to be here over half an hour ago.

The party was tonight and there was so much to get done..

All of a sudden the doorbell rang. "Thank God." Roquelle said as she opened it.

She stared at Landon blankly and crossed her arms. He looked at her nervously as he moved his head to get a better view of her. He was carrying a big box.

"Hey babe."

"Yeah yeah, come inside."

"Sorry about coming late, Roquelle. There was just so much snow and I had to stop by at a couple stores to get more decorations."

"It's fine, it's fine. I'm just stressed out about all this."

"You shouldn't be, the party will be awesome." He sat the box down that was the Christmas tree.
