Ella and Josiah had made plans to hang out and were trying to figure out what to do. They couldn't decide so they just stayed home. The new couple was lying on the couch cuddling bored out of their minds.
"Jo, What should we do?" Ella asked the boy.
"How about this?" Josiah asked, placing his lips on Ella's. The girl kissed back but pulled away soon after.
"I love that, but we should actually find something to do", Ella said, causing Josiah to frown. The two looked around the living room trying to find something to do. Ella had looked at the TV and saw the Xbox 360 sitting on the mantel which sparked an idea. A mischievous smile crept onto the girl's face making Josiah question what she had in mind. The boy knew it wouldn't be good for him just by looking at the girl's smile.
"What's the smile for?" Josiah slowly asked, scared of the answer.
"You'll see", Ella said, grabbing Josiah's hand and causing him to stand up. She dragged the boy closer to the TV and turned on the Xbox.
Josiah groaned knowing exactly what the girl was planning, "Oh c'mon Elle, why this?"
Josiah tried to walk away but Ella's grip on his hand tightened, "Where are you going?"
"Away from this", Josiah replied, gesturing to the TV.
"I thought you loved Just Dance?" Ella asked genuinely, wondering what the boy would say.
"I do, but it's just", Josiah stopped, scared Ella was going to make fun of him.
"What is it?" Ella asked the boy to tell her.
"You know how I get when we play and you always laugh at me", Josiah said. They had played Just Dance a couple of times before and every time Josiah would win. He would get very focused and concentrated on the game and he would make a face. Ella would laugh at the face he made because she thought it was the cutest thing. Josiah would always do that. He gets so focused and 'into it' when he does anything that requires energy. It was one of Ella's favorite things about him.
"I would never laugh at your focused face", Ella said as the sarcasm showed even though she tried to hide it.
"Ella, you always do", Josiah said looking down at the girl he loved.
"Well, this time I won't. I promise", Ella said, crossing her fingers.
"Hey, your fingers are crossed", Josiah said accusingly.
"What are you talking about? Let's play", Ella said, pulling the boy to the TV.
"Fine, but as long as I can pick the song", Josiah said, turning to face his girlfriend. Ella handed him the controller letting him pick the song even though she knew exactly which song he would pick, What makes you Beautiful by One Direction. They danced to the song and Josiah obviously won. Ella had laughed so many times because Josiah was focused. The song ended and Ella started cracking up laughing at Josiah.
"Oh c'mon it's not that funny", Josiah said trying to convince his girlfriend, but she thought otherwise. Ella kept laughing until Josiah began to leave the room. Ella ran up to him, grabbing his hand and turning him around to face her.
"I'm sorry for laughing at you. It's just I think your concentrated face is the cutest thing and it makes me laugh. That's all", Ella said, apologizing. Josiah looked down at the girl he loved and smiled then he kissed her passionately.
They broke contact when Ella asked, "Forgive me?" The boy nodded, kissing his girlfriend again.
