Chapter 16: Caught In The Act

Earlier that day at West-Stohess Hall

"Hey, Hans! Miche and I are gonna go over to his dorm. Wanna come? We can watch a movie till Shorty gets there."

"I don't think so Nana," she said quietly

"You okay babe?" her friend asked

"Yeah, just thinking."

"What about?"

Hange just looked at her friend and gave her a fake smile.

"Ohh... Is it Zeke or Levi?"

"Both I guess. I don't know. Sometimes I can't keep up with Zeke. I know he apologized and the dinner was a nice gesture but I'm always going to wonder you know. Should I be in a committed relationship with him? Should I wait for someone else? What if I make the wrong choice? What if I make the choice I think I want and later it turns out to be the wrong one? I just...hate overthinking like this."

Nanaba hugged her friend. "I'm sorry Hange. Come with Miche and I. We'll watch a silly movie or something."

"You two go ahead. I have some homework I should work on."

"Okay. Well, call me if you need anything."

Miche walked up to Hange and gave her a kiss on the head, "Hang in there kid. Let me know if you want me to beat Levi's ass."

Hange just chuckled.

Miche and Nanaba made their way to his dorm.

The next day Nanaba checked up with Hange and she was doing better. She spent her morning with Zeke. He kept trying to woo her in an attempt to make her his official girlfriend and it kept getting difficult for Hange to keep declining, she would make up excuses that she had to study or do homework. In truth, she just wanted to spend some time with Levi.

Levi was making his way to his dorm when he ran into Zeke. Being the jerk that he is, Zeke wanted to stir drama up between Hange and Levi. He knew Levi was what was holding Hange back.

"Hey, Levi. You see Hange today?"

Levi looked over to see it was Zeke talking to him. "No not today."

"Ah well, she's supposed to come over tonight. Can you give her a message when you see her?"

"What?"

"Tell her to be at my place around 7. Hopefully, she doesn't bother with panties, right? I like it when she wears that pencil skirt with nothing underneath. Makes it easier for me if you know what I mean." Zeke said with a grin.

Levi didn't respond to him and walked off. He felt anger going through his body. He wondered if that was why he hadn't seen Hange for a few days. She probably doesn't want to see me was his thought. He felt a bit empty inside. He pulled out his phone and texted Petra to meet him at his dorm. 10 minutes later she arrived with a lustful smile on her face. He closed the door behind her, and she made her way toward his bed.

"Get on your knees" was all he said, and she did so without hesitation. He pulled his pants and boxers down a bit and immediately Petra sprang into action. Despite being in a rocky position with her, Levi closed his eyes and imagined Hange in Petra's spot. She was the only woman that could really turn him on.

At the same Hange was making her way to Levi's dorm. She was happy she finally had time to go see him. She wasn't used to going so many days without texting him or visiting him. She got to his floor and the closer she got to his door the more happy she was to see her best friend.

As soon as she opened the door she let out a small scream at the sight in front of her. This caused Levi to open his eyes and look over to see Hange standing there with a hand over her mouth.

"I- I'm sorry" was all Hange said before she closed the door and ran off.

Levi pushed Petra away from him and he quickly pulled his clothes up to go after her.

"Hey!" Petra said as she was shoved off.

"Leave!" was all Levi could say as he rushed out the door. The elevator was taking too long so he ran down the stairs. By the time he got to the lobby, Hange had left the elevator so he ran over to her building.

Hange was entering her floor crying. Nanaba saw her and rushed to her

"Hange! What happened?"

"Levi, He- He-."

"He what Hans?"

"He was with Petra!" she finally let out before she went into her room and shut the door. Her heart felt broken. He was never hers. But she cried anyway at the thought that she will never have him.

Levi finally entered the floor and walked towards Hange's room. He was about to enter when he was stopped by Nanaba.

"I need to talk to her," he said.

"It's not a good time, Levi."

"You don't understand Nana I need to explain to her!" He yelled as he began to worry.

"LEVI!" Finally, Levi turned to look at Nanaba. "Please. It's not a good time. Just give her some time to think. She'll come to you when she's ready to talk."

"Please, she has to know. It's not what she thinks." He had his hand resting on the handle. All he could think was the girl he loved most in the world was on the other side. And she needed him just as much as he needed her. "Please"

"Levi. Go home." Nanaba said calmly.

Levi finally let go of the handle and went back to his room. Nanaba entered the room and hugged Hange.
