Five years later
It was early in the morning and an alarm went off. The couple was slowly trying to wake up.
Levi looked over at Hange's side of the bed, "Hans, it's your alarm sweetheart" he said as he kissed the back of her neck.
"Mmh, I know," she whined as she reached over to stop the alarm.
"Good morning beautiful," Levi said as he wrapped his arms around her. He moved his hand to her belly to caress her baby bump. "Good morning to both of you." He kissed her lips and they sat up.
"Morning shorty."
He chuckled at the old nickname she used. "How long do you think we have?"
"Mmmh not long. I let the alarm ring for a little too long."
Just then their door burst open
"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up! It's my birthday!", a little boy yelled with excitement. He looked mostly like Hange except for his eyes. They were grey like Levi's.
"It sure is!" Hange said and she helped him onto the bed. "Tell Daddy how old you're turning today."
"I turned three!" he said as he held up three fingers to Levi.
"That's my boy," Levi said as he kissed his son's head. "Three means finally get that remote control racecar."
"YAYYY!!!" He yelled as he jumped on his dad to try and hug around his shoulders.
"You know what else that means?"
The little boy thought for a few seconds and gasped "That means I'm almost a big brother!"
"That's right. She'll be here in just a few weeks." Levi said as he placed his son between him and Hange.
The little boy got closer to his mother and placed his small hand on her baby bump. He felt a small kick and smiled up at his mom. "I'm going to be the best big brother ever!"
Hange kissed him on his forehead. "Are you going to protect her?"
"Yes! Just like daddy does with you."
Hange and Levi were excited to be welcoming their second child. Levi and Hange both grew up being the only children so they decided they wanted to have two. They had their boy 2 years after getting married and now we're ready to welcome home another one. A baby girl. Their family was going to be complete once their daughter arrived and they were excited for their son to have a sibling to play with and grow up with. They were ready to be one happy family.
