CHAPTER 19: Zeke and Hange Talk

After spending most of the day together the couples arrive on campus. Levi walked Hange to her dorm and greeted his friends who were there.

"Well, look what we have here," said Erwin as he walked to sit on the couch.

"Are you guys dating?" Moblit asked as he saw Levi's hand resting at Hange's hip.

Levi kissed Hange's cheek and responded, "Yeah, we are."

A big smile appeared on Nanaba's face as she hugged her two best friends. "I love you both so much!"

"I love you too Nana. I'm going to go put my stuff away," she said as she walked towards her room with Levi behind her.

He set her bag down on the bed and wrapped his arms around her from behind, "What's wrong, Hans? You seem a bit off."

"It's nothing. I just... have to talk to Zeke today. I only texted him saying I couldn't come over Friday. I didn't tell him I'm ending things because I was worried he would come here."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No that's okay. I don't want to upset him more than he's already going to be."

"Okay, at least take someone else with you. I don't like you being alone with that Monkey. I don't trust him."

"I'll ask Nanaba."

Nanaba agreed to go with Hange to Zeke's house. They got in her truck and made their way over. Once they arrived Nanaba unbuckled but stayed seated.

"Want me to go in with you?" she asked.

"Um, no that's all right," but then she thought about it. "Actually, yes but maybe hang out downstairs? This shouldn't take long. I don't want to be here more than I need to."

"Let's go then."

One of the other guys that lived there opened the door for them and let them inside. The one who opened the door and another guy went to the living room.

"Zeke's in his room," One of them said.

"Okay, thanks. I'll be right back Nana."

"Okay, I'll be here if you need me."

Hange made her way upstairs into Zeke's room.

"Hey Zeke, sorry to drop off unannounced."

"Hey, baby girl. You don't need to apologize for coming to see me you know that." He made his way towards her ready to kiss her but Hange moved her head at the last second and he kissed her cheek. The feeling made Hange want to wash her face that very moment.

"So how's it going today?" she asked trying to engage in some small talk before she got to her point.

Meanwhile, downstairs, the two guys were trying to hit on Nanaba.

"Damn, you're taller than most girls. I like tall girls," one of them said in an attempt to flirt.

"Got any plans later today sweetheart?" the other one asked.

Nanaba rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Yeah, probably making out with my 6'4 boyfriend. He also likes how tall I am." She said with a fake smile.

The guys took this as a sign to back off and resumed watching TV and using their phones. Back in Zeke's room, Hange was about to get to her point. Zeke sat down on a computer chair to play his PS5.

"...other than that, been a pretty chill day. But enough about me. I have a feeling there's a reason you're here. Right, baby girl?" he said with a smirk. He thought this was her coming to apologize for canceling the night before. That coming to him could mean she was ready to be with him.
