A few days later Levi had found out from their friend group that Hange had accepted whatever apology Zeke made the night of her birthday. He had taken her out to a nice dinner to show how sorry he was. Levi wasn't sure what to think. He felt confused since they were always going back and forth between being in a good place and having issues.

It was Monday and Levi met up with Petra for their lunch date. It went well, they talked about their classes, and a little about their personal lives.

"Yeah, I don't really have a lot of interesting stuff in here." He said trying to get her to go into the common area.

"It's interesting enough for me." She looked at the small shelf of books he had by his desk and bent down to get a closer look. Levi looked away and pretended to fix the blanket from his bed. "Should we sit on the bed?" she said as she jumped up and patted the spot next to her.

Levi sat next to her and was about to ask what she wanted to do but before he could Petra pushed him down and got on top of him. She started kissing him hungrily and started to pull up his shirt. "Woah Petra. Um, why don't we slow down."

Levi was confused to hear she was talking to someone. He stepped out of his room to see Nanaba and Miche sitting on the couch in the common area.

"Hey, yeah I remember you from Hange's party," Nanaba responded

"Sup" was all Miche said.

"Well, it was nice to see you guys, bye!" she said to the couple on the couch as she turned and gave Levi a small wave as well.

Levi walked by the common area to the kitchen to get a bottle of water

"So, Petra huh?" Miche asked. "I didn't know you were into her."

"I'm not," Levi responded.

"So, you just had sex because you were bored or what?" Nanaba asked harshly. She was aware of the relationship between Hange and Levi. But she knew more about Hange's side than Levi did so she couldn't help but take her side.

"We didn't have sex," Levi responded.

"Right, guess it was a fucking bird making all those moaning sounds then," Nanaba responded with a death glare to Levi.

"It wasn't sex. Just... don't tell anyone." He told them.

"You mean don't tell Hange, right?" Nanaba asked.

"It's not like she needs to know or that it's any of her business Nanaba."

"OH! So when she does things it's your business but when you do things it's none of her business. That makes sense."

"Not like she would care anyway. I know she's still going out with that monkey Zeke. She's probably with him right now."

"Yeah well think again. You think you know everything about her but you don't. You don't know how she's feeling Levi."

"Because she won't tell me Nanaba! Every time I ask her, every time I try to get her to open up to me about the situation she doesn't want to talk. She just says she's okay but yet there I am holding her while she cries about him!"

"What makes you think she's crying about him? God men are such idiots. Can't you see it's about you! You're so hot and cold with her. You act like you want her and then the next day you act like she's your sister! Make up your damn mind already Levi!"

"I've never played with her feelings the way he does."

"Really never? Never? Not even the night of your birthday?"

He stopped in his tracks. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me. She thinks you don't remember anything, but I know you. You're pretending you don't remember. How is that not playing with her feelings?"

Levi just stayed silent. He had no response.

"Answer me, Levi! How is that any different?" Nanaba was getting frustrated. "If you keep this shit up Hange's gonna end up settling for Zeke because she thinks you'll never reciprocate."

Levi didn't answer he just got his keys and walked out slamming the door behind him. Miche hugged Nanaba to help her calm down. This wasn't his argument to chime in on so he just held Nanaba to let her know he was there for her.

Levi walked to his car with a million thoughts going through his head. What did Nanaba mean Hange wasn't with Zeke? Why does she cry over him? Did Hange wish she was with him instead of Zeke? Why wouldn't she just tell him that?

He didn't come back to the dorm that night and instead slept in his car parked at a random park.
