Yn was in her office busy finishing her paper work but her mind lingered over the same thought again.
The person. Who could it be?
Though the allure of uncovering the identity of this person consumed her thoughts, she knew that sometimes, some stories are better left untold. And so, she pushed away her curiosity, hoping that one day, when the time was right, he would voluntarily share his story and the deep connection he had with that mysterious reader.

As the clock struck 9 pm, Y/n reluctantly tore herself away from her work, unaware of how quickly time had flown by. Stepping out of her office, she was greeted by the darkness of the night, a stark contrast to the vibrant energy she had left behind within the office walls.

Reaching her car, she fumbled with her keys to unlock it. With a sigh of relief, she settled into the driver's seat and attempted to start the engine. To her dismay, the car remained stubbornly silent. She tried again, but the engine refused to cooperate.

"What the fuck!?" she whispered in frustration, her voice tinged with disbelief and irritation. Panic threatened to seep in as she realized she was stranded with a non-functional car. Uncertain of what to do, Y/n reluctantly stepped out of the vehicle and checked for any obvious issues, even though her limited knowledge of cars rendered her helpless in the situation.

She glanced around the empty parking lot, realizing that she was the last one to leave the office, leaving her without anyone to turn to for help. A wry smile tugged at her lips as she resignedly muttered to herself, "Well, things like this will only happen to me, lol."

Feeling defeated, she made her way to a nearby bench and sank down onto it, her frustration and disappointment palpable. The weight of the situation settled heavily upon her, amplifying the sense of helplessness. Seeking solace in her phone, she reached into her bag, only to realize that it too had betrayed her - it was dead.

Y/n's frustration escalated into a state of sheer panic, causing her to let out a piercing shriek that seemed to pierce through the silence. She yanked at her hair in frustration and desperation, grappling with the overwhelming darkness surrounding her.

As she surveyed the empty road, the absence of any signs of life intensified the weight of the darkness. Despite the presence of a single street light, the encompassing darkness seemed to devour the entire city, amplifying her fear. Y/n desperately fought to push away her phobia, but with darkness enveloping her, it became an impossible task.

Her body began to tense up, her hands and feet trembling uncontrollably. She clenched her teeth tightly, unable to stop the chattering caused by her fear. Sweat coated her palms, yet her entire being felt frozen in place.

The sensation of slowly losing control over her body overwhelmed her senses. Her vision blurred, as if her fear and vulnerability were clouding her ability to perceive her surroundings. Darkness, her greatest fear, seeped into every corner of her consciousness.

Unable to bear the fear any longer, tears welled up in Y/n's eyes. She shut her eyes tightly, as if by closing them, she could shield herself from the consuming darkness. She panted heavily, her breaths coming in short, ragged gasps.

Hopelessness washed over her as she realized her vulnerability in the face of her phobia. It was a feeling that rendered her powerless, leaving her paralyzed, both physically and emotionally. In that moment, darkness seemed to have claimed her, and she felt utterly lost within its grip.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a figure came barreling towards her, swiftly taking a seat beside her and gripping her waist tightly. They were panting heavily, clearly winded from running.

"Ju- jk, (pants) I- I got her, just - get the car pl-please haah," the person managed to say between breaths, placing their phone down and wiping away sweat from their forehead.

And just like that, Y/n's heart skipped a beat. It was Taehyung. He had come running, but how did he know? How did he find her in her desperate time of need?

Y/n, partially conscious, couldn't quite comprehend who it was. All she could do was hold onto the person, clutching them tightly for dear life.

"Calm down, Y/n. I am here," Taehyung whispered, his voice filled with relief. He gently held her head, pressing it down onto his strong chest, offering her a place to find solace.

Seeking comfort, Y/n buried her head further into his chest, inhaling the familiar scent that brought her calmness. Taehyung's touch was gentle and reassuring, his other hand still wrapped protectively around her waist.

Through the haze of pain and exhaustion, Y/n summoned all her strength to try and speak.

"Ta- Taehyung?" she managed, her voice strained and weak.

Her words seemed to shatter his composure. Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes, threatening to spill over, and his voice cracked as he responded.

"Yes, it's me, Taehyung. Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to you," he reassured her, his words filled with a mixture of desperation and determination.

As the big black car rushed to their side, a tall and imposing figure emerged, dressed in a sleek black suit that exuded an air of sophistication. His piercing adorned lips and eyebrows, along with a meticulously styled man bun and intricate tattoos on his right hand, certainly gave off a dangerous vibe. However, his eyes held a surprising amount of empathy and concern.

"Sir, is everything alright?" he asked, his voice deep but laced with genuine worry.

"Yes, Jungkook. Thank you for the help."

With utmost care, Taehyung gently lifted Y/n into his arms, holding her in a bridal style as he made his way towards the waiting car. Jungkook swiftly opened the back door, and Taehyung carefully placed Y/n on the seat, making sure she was as comfortable as possible. He then entered the car, allowing her head to rest on his strong shoulders, a protective embrace enveloping her.

Jungkook closed the door with a soft click before making his way to the driver's seat. As the engine hummed to life, he turned towards Taehyung, awaiting further instruction.

"Where to, sir?" Jungkook asked, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly.

Taehyung's voice was filled with determination as he replied, "Hospital."

Jungkook nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation, and began driving towards the nearest hospital.

As the car sped through the city streets, Taehyung's attention never wavered from Y/n. Slowly, his thumb caressed her skin.

"Stay with me, Y/n," Taehyung whispered, his voice filled with a mix of hope and fear. "You're going to be alright. I promise."

He caressed every single finger of her's.

Y/n was not conscious she was asleep.

Taehyung looked out of the window holding her hands tightly.
