CHAPTER 37

It was soon the next day, Taehyung woke up at three in the morning, groggy and disoriented. He knew he had to get ready and do the final packing, but he didn't want to disturb Yn. So he silently went about his morning routine, trying his best not to make any noise.

Meanwhile, Yn had been tossing and turning in bed. She couldn't sleep well, She really wanted to drop him off at the airport and say a proper goodbye. Determined to make it happen, she had set an alarm for three thirty, but to her surprise, she woke up before it rang.

Yn lay in bed for a couple of minutes, Eventually, she decided to get up and freshen up. Just as she stepped out of the bathroom, Taehyung was coming inside the bedroom, a curious expression on his face.

"Why are you up, darling? It's just three in the morning, go back to sleep," he whispered softly, trying not to startle her.
"I know, but you're leaving today, and I want to drop you off at the airport," Yn said determinedly, cutting him off.

Taehyung looked both surprised and touched by her words. He reached out to hold her face gently, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Yn, you don't have to do this. I can take a cab."
"Shh," Yn hushed him, placing a finger on his lips. "I don't want to hear anything. I am dropping you off, and that's final."
Taehyung couldn't help but blush at her sudden boldness. He loved when she showed her dominating side. "Okay," he whispered, his voice filled with gratitude and admiration.

Without wasting any more time, Yn opened the cupboard to pick out her outfit for the day. She decided on a comfortable black sweatshirt and jeans, perfect for the early morning trip to the airport. As she got ready, Taehyung grabbed his phone and went to cancel the cab he had booked earlier.
"You even booked a cab?" Yn scoffed playfully, raising an eyebrow.
Taehyung chuckled softly, feeling a warmth spreading in his chest. "Well, I wanted everything to go smoothly. But I guess I didn't consider the fact that my amazing wife would want to drop me off herself."
Yn was flustered.
"Alright then, I'll make you something to eat. Come down after you're ready." Taehyung said as he went downstairs.

Yn felt a sense of relief and happiness somewhere deep inside her heart.
She quickly changed into her outfit and grabbed her phone. Taehyung was in the kitchen, setting the table with a fruit bowl. It was too early in the morning for a meal, but Taehyung insisted on having something light before they left. Yn couldn't help but smile at his thoughtfulness.

They sat down to eat, but Taehyung was mostly on his phone, receiving calls from his office. Even though they were physically together, their attention was divided. Yn understood the demands of Taehyung's work, but she couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness.

Finally, it was time to leave. Yn unlocked the car, and Taehyung asked once again, "Should I drive?" Yn gave him a playful glare and replied, "Okay, okay, you can drive. I was just worried that if you'll be okay to drive in the dark." Taehyung smiled and got inside the car, knowing that Yn's concern came from a place of love.

As they drove towards the airport, Yn noticed how quiet it was. She broke the silence, saying, "Hey, you can sleep if you're tired. It will take an hour to reach the airport and you have a long flight and a meeting, so..." Before she could finish her sentence, Taehyung interrupted, "Nah, it's okay. I'm not sleepy." He leaned on the seat, arms crossed, and admired Yn's every action. His heart fluttered with love and adoration.

Yn couldn't help but feel self-conscious under his gaze. "Stop looking at me like that," she said, her eyes fixed on the road. Taehyung chuckled and smirked, replying, "Why, darling? Can't I admire my beautiful wife?" Yn playfully rolled her eyes, saying, "Oh god, why are you being so cliché?" Taehyung smiled and continued to stare at her, unable to take his eyes off her.
