It was the dead of night when Yn stirred from her deep slumber, her eyes squinting as she struggled to adjust to the invading light. Disoriented and bewildered, she surveyed her surroundings, trying to make sense of the unfamiliar place she found herself in. As she glanced down at her hands, she noticed a thin drip, bringing back fragments of her memory. Everything that had happened back home came rushing back to her.

Just then, the door swung open, and Jungkook entered, carrying a bundle of covers in his arms. "Oh, you're awake," he greeted, a warm smile gracing his face as he kept the covers on the desk. "Jungkook," Yn murmured softly, her voice still groggy as her gaze focused on him.

"Yes, ma'am. How are you feeling?" he inquired, busying himself with unpacking the food from the covers. "I've brought you some food and your prescribed medicines." He continued his attentive care.

Yn remained silent, her mind filled with confusion. Sensing her inner turmoil, Jungkook spoke up, "And Taehyung, he is...well, he will be here soon, don't worry." He tried to reassure her, noticing her lack of response.

But Yn couldn't care less. "I don't care about him," she declared coldly, her voice dripping with indifference. "Jungkook, would you mind on explaining everything? I don't know how long I can endure this silence, this endless cycle of mysteries." Her words cut through the air, her emotions simmering beneath the surface.

Taken aback by her coldness, Jungkook stuttered, unsure of how to respond. "Um, Yn..." he began hesitantly.

"I don't want to hear any more of your senseless excuses," Yn interrupted, her voice resolute. "From day one, I've been surrounded by nothing but enigmas. And the fact that my own parents..." Her voice trailed off as the weight of her emotions overwhelmed her.

"Yn, please," Jungkook pleaded, desperation lacing his words. "Don't burden yourself. We owe you an explanation. In fact, we owe you the truth." He sighed heavily, pulling up a chair and settling himself by her bedside.

A brief silence hung in the air before he began to paint the intricate picture, "Bangtan. Taehyung's sanctuary. The place that molded him, just as he helped to shape it." Jungkook paused, his eyes filled with a mixture of nostalgia and determination. "But this story, it spans far beyond its humble beginnings. Fate had its hand in it, you see. We have grown."

Yn's confusion only deepened as she tried to grasp the information being shared with her. Patiently, Jungkook continued, "In 2019, on the day Taehyung was forced to abandon his college dreams, his aspirations in fashion design were shattered. That's when he made a decision-a decision born from revenge."

"Revenge?" Yn echoed, her voice tinged with disbelief.

"Yes," Jungkook affirmed, his voice tinged with both pain and anger. "His aunt and uncle, the ones who raised him after his parents' untimely demise, were nothing short of monsters. They subjected Taehyung to unimaginable torment-starving him, isolating him in a desolate room for days, and even resorting to physical abuse. They broke him, both mentally and physically."

These words struck a chord deep within Yn's heart, sending waves of sorrow and empathy through her. The truth was finally laid bare before her, revealing the depths of Taehyung's anguish.

And the only escape he had was through college. He didn't speak to anyone, not even me. He was dealing with a plethora of issues, and his emotional state was deeply wounded. And then, one day, he came to know about the heart-wrenching news that his parents were killed. It was an unbearable burden to bear.

"What?" Yn was taken aback.

"Yes, Yn. His own aunt and uncle took the lives of his parents," Jungkook paused.
