Finally, it was the day Yn had been eagerly waiting for. Taehyung, was finally coming back home after a long time away. Yn had even taken a day off from work to spend the entire day with him. She woke up exceptionally early, at five in the morning, as she had planned a special day for them.

Yn's first task was to clean the entire house. It was no easy job, and as she finished cleaning the bathroom and the bedroom, her muscles began to cramp. But her determination to make everything perfect for Taehyung kept her going. With plenty of coffee breaks, she managed to finish cleaning the entire mansion by two in the afternoon. She hurriedly took a shower, knowing that Taehyung would be arriving at four in the evening. It was already two-thirty, and she had so many things left to do.

Taehyung had told her that his secretary would be dropping him off, so Yn didn't have to pick him up, although she really wanted to. As she was busy baking his favorite tiramisu cake, her phone chimed with a text from Taehyung. He informed her that he had reached Seoul and would be arriving in half an hour. Yn's face lit up with excitement and relief. The agonizing wait was finally over. These past two weeks without Taehyung felt like an eternity for her, and she couldn't be happier that he was finally coming home.

Yn quickly placed the freshly baked cake in the fridge and set the table. She took the time to decorate it beautifully, creating a romantic ambiance with candles and flowers. She checked her dress and hair once again, applying some lip balm to complete her look. With anticipation and a mix of nerves, she waited by the door for Taehyung's arrival.

The doorbell rang, and Yn rushed towards it, opening it abruptly. There stood Taehyung, looking tired but handsome as ever in a chic black shirt and trousers. However, Yn's joy was short-lived, as she noticed two unfamiliar faces standing beside him. A man and a woman. Confusion washed over her, and her smile faded. Taehyung entered without speaking a word or even looking at Yn. The two strangers followed suit, leaving Yn standing there, unaware of what was going on.

Feeling left out, Yn mustered the courage to break the awkward silence. "Who are they, Taehyung?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Taehyung took a seat on the sofa, and the two strangers accompanied him. "Ah, this is John, my secretary, and Ivy, my colleague. I have some files to hand over, so they came along," Taehyung explained casually, his eyes glued to the files in front of him.

"Oh," Yn uttered softly, her confusion growing. As they all sat down and started discussing their projects and business matters, Yn couldn't help but feel like an outsider in her own home.

Yn mustered up the courage to offer them lunch. "Um, Taehyung, don't you guys need lunch? I've made some food," she said, her voice betraying a hint of hope.
"No, Yn. We've already had lunch on our way," Taehyung interrupted, his eyes still fixed on the files. Yn felt a pang in her heart as her efforts to please him were dismissed so casually. She slowly walked away, knowing that she was intruding on their conversation.

Feeling dejected, Yn tried to distract herself by scrolling through her phone. Thoughts flooded her mind. Maybe love wasn't meant for her after all. Was she simply naive to believe that things could change for the better? The echoes of her and her parents past rang in her ears, reinforcing her belief that nobody could truly love her. It was a big step for her to open her heart again, but now she questioned if it was worth it.

As evening approached, Yn couldn't help but watch from a distance as Taehyung and his colleagues continued their lively conversation. They laughed and joked, seemingly unaware of the hurt Yn was feeling. One moment caught her attention when Ivy glanced at her with a slight smirk. Yn's heart burned with jealousy. She realized that Ivy had her eyes set on Taehyung, and her presence only intensified Yn's sense of unease and insecurity.

Finally, Ivy and John said their goodbyes to Taehyung. Ivy hugged him tightly, and her eyes lingered on Yn for a brief moment, almost taunting her. Yn was seething with anger. She knew that this girl wasn't just a friendly colleague but had other intentions. She muttered under her breath, "This girl, her audacity."

As soon as the door closed, Taehyung's eyes were drawn to the perfectly set dining table. He approached it and opened the pots, only to find the food cold. It dawned on him that Yn had lovingly prepared a hot lunch which he had arrogantly dismissed without giving her a chance to explain. Taehyung cursed himself, realizing how thoughtless he had been.

He quickly went upstairs in search of Yn, calling out her name. "Yn?" he called softly as he opened the bedroom door, but she wasn't there. He instinctively headed towards the balcony, where he found Yn leaning against the parapet, her arms crossed, and her expression distant.

"Yn," Taehyung called out, gently hugging her from behind. Yn was taken aback by the unexpected embrace, unsure of how to respond. "I missed you," he whispered softly into her ear. "And I'm so sorry."
Yn moved away from him, her anger still simmering. She looked at him with cold eyes, and her voice dripped with sarcasm. "I'm so glad to hear that, Mr. Kim."

Taehyung couldn't help but laugh, realizing the absurdity of the situation. "I'm not joking, Yn. I know I messed up, and I'm truly sorry. I was in a bad mood, but that's no excuse for treating you like that. Please forgive me," he pleaded, his voice filled with sincerity.

Yn rolled her eyes at him, still annoyed. "Fine," she mumbled reluctantly, unable to resist his puppy-like charms. Taehyung was overjoyed, embracing her tightly once again.
"Ew, first go and wash up. You stink," Yn teased, playfully pushing him away. Taehyung chuckled, knowing that his presence had clearly disrupted Yn's plans for the day.

As he turned to leave, Yn interrupted him, "And yeah, that Ivy girl of yours... she'll be in big trouble soon," she warned, her tone suggesting that she had something up her sleeve.
Curious, Taehyung walked back towards Yn, tilting his head to the side. "Huh? What do you mean?"

Taehyung's smirk grew wider as he slowly walked towards her, her back against the wall. Taehyung closed the distance between them and caged Yn with his arms, trapping her against the wall. Their eyes locked, and silence filled the air as they stood there, both feeling the intensity of the gaze.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Yn asked, her voice barely a whisper.
Taehyung's lips curled into a playful smile, his breath tickling her neck. "Like what?" he whispered, his voice husky.
Yn's heart raced, and she attempted to push him away, but his grip tightened. "Did you miss me?" he asked, his voice filled with desire.

"Taehy-" Yn began, but he cut her off. "I asked if you missed me," he repeated, his voice filled with longing.
Yn pushed him away, her frustration evident. "God, just leave me alone," she said, a mixture of annoyance and chuckles in her voice.
Taehyung let out a dramatic sigh. "Why are you like this?" he whined, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Unable to resist her charm, he obeyed her command and went to wash up, eager to continue the evening on a happier note.
Yn watched him leave, a small smile playing on her lips.
