'There's darkness in the distance
From the way that I've been livin'
But I know I can't resist it'

It was nearly six in the evening. Yn was driving back from her work. It had been one hectic day, and all she wanted to do was jump into a hot shower and get some sleep. She had a terrible headache that had been throbbing since morning. As she reached her house, she parked her car and stepped inside. Opening the door with her spare key, she removed her heels and placed them on the shoe rack.

As Yn looked up, she was surprised to find a woman standing in front of her with her arms crossed and a smug smirk on her face. Yn couldn't recognize who it was at first, but then she remembered Taehyung mentioning that they were expecting some guests.

"So, Miss Yn, I guess you don't remember me," the woman sneered.
Yn furrowed her brows, trying to place the woman's face. Suddenly, it clicked. She had seen her at their wedding, wearing a big flashy white dress. Their encounter had been brief, but Yn couldn't help but feel a strange aura from her. She had been overly touchy with Taehyung during the photo session, and it had left Yn with an uneasy feeling.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Yn asked, maintaining a straight face.
"Oh, you've got some damn nerve, girl," the woman, named Nara, scoffed.
Yn rolled her eyes and started walking towards the stairs, hoping to escape the awkward encounter.

"Hey, stop there," Nara called out, her voice filled with annoyance.
Yn sighed and turned around, a mixture of confusion and annoyance on her face.
"Tae has a bad taste," Nara whispered, loud enough for Yn to hear, as she made an annoyed face with a smug smile.
Yn didn't let Nara's comment bother her and continued on her way upstairs, leaving Nara and her smugness behind.

In the living room, Aunt DeLuna, Nara's mother, came in with a coffee cup in her hand. She sat on the couch, sipping her coffee. Noticing Nara's disgruntled expression, she asked, "Who were you talking to, Nara?"
"Nara complained. "I don't like her attitude towards me, Mom."
Aunt DeLuna frowned, shaking her head. "Hmm, I knew it since the very first day I saw her. But Mira, she has a bad taste. I don't understand why she changed her mind so suddenly."
"I know, right, Mom!" Nara exclaimed, frustrated. "I was so ready to start a life with my Tae. All that hard work for nothing."

"No, Darling, this is not the end. It's just the beginning," Aunt DeLuna reassured her daughter with a smug chuckle. "This is DeLuna's promise."
Nara nodded, sporting a smirk on her face. Little did they know that Yn was about to face some unexpected challenges.

Yn was in her room, still in her office attire, working on her laptop. Her face looked tense and annoyed, her fingers clacking rapidly on the keyboard. She seemed lost in her own thoughts when Taehyung suddenly opened the door, causing her to wince.
"What is it?" Yn asked in a blank tone, her eyes still fixed on the screen.
"You're still in your formal wear?" Taehyung questioned; eyebrows furrowed.
"hm," Yn replied, her voice filled with exhaustion. Taehyung didn't press further and left the room, shutting the door a little too forcefully.

As the clock neared nine, Taehyung prepared dinner and started setting the dining table. Aunt DeLuna walked in, noticing his efforts, and couldn't help but mock him.
"What a nice view," she said, her disappointment evident. "My poor boy, why did you even get married? To make your life miserable or to serve your so-called wife?"
Taehyung glanced up, the frustration evident in his eyes, but he decided to stay quiet and continued setting the table.

Aunt DeLuna snickered before taking her seat, followed by Nara, who was engrossed in scrolling through her phone. Soon, Yn came down and took her seat, tying her hair up.
Aunt DeLuna couldn't hide her disapproval as she gave Yn a disgusted look. Yn, on the other hand, smiled at Aunt DeLuna, confused by her disdain.
Taehyung joined them at the table, sitting next to Yn. He introduced Aunt DeLuna and Nara to his wife, his tone trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"Hello, Aunt and Nara. It's a pleasure to meet you guys. Make yourself feel at home here," Yn greeted them with a pleasant smile.
"Tsk. It's been seven hours since we arrived here, and I feel so lucky to meet our beloved daughter-in-law at the dining table," Aunt DeLuna said, her annoyance evident.
Yn sighed. "I'm really sorry, Aunt. I had too much work at the office, and it was impossible for me to be here earlier. I hope you understand."
"So you do know how to talk nicely," Nara sneered, causing Yn to stop eating and look at her, confused.

"What do you mean, Nara?" Yn asked, her voice laced with uncertainty.
"Oh, so you don't know?" Nara chuckled. "My poor thing, Auntie Kim, it's because of her that you're sitting beside Tae now. I don't know what happened to her one day, but the same Aunt who treated me like her own daughter-in-law before our marriage was even fixed, suddenly announced Taehyung's marriage to you. What a tease, you know..."

Aunt DeLuna faked a small cry, as she heard her daughter, emphasizing the unfairness of it all. Yn was left in disbelief, unable to look up at any of their faces. Feeling overwhelmed, she got up and walked away, but Nara wasn't done yet.

"Where are you going, Miss Yn?" she mocked, clearly enjoying the discomfort she had caused.
"I have some work. Sorry," Yn managed to say, her voice cold, before leaving the table.
Taehyung sighed, his anger building up within him. "You didn't have to tell her everything, Aunt DeLuna."
"What do you mean, Tae? She had to know," Aunt DeLuna chuckled, seemingly unaffected by Taehyung's anger.
"What the hell? She's my wife now, and it was utterly unnecessary to tell her all of that," Taehyung tried to sound calm, but his frustration was evident.

Aunt DeLuna rolled her eyes, clearly disapproving of Taehyung's reaction. "And, as I've always said, I would have never agreed to marry Nara, even if mom forced me to. I've always made that clear to everyone, so just forget about it. And don't ever try to bring this up again. I'm married now, and I have a wife. I won't stay quiet like before."
Taehyung stormed out of the room, taking his unfinished plate with him. Nara burned with anger, upset by Taehyung's words.
"Oh, darling, don't you worry," Aunt DeLuna sneered, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "He will pay for this."

🌷

Guys, Aunt DeLuna and Nara are not Taehyung's relatives...
They are just family friends since ages. And has a relationship like a close family.
And yep Nara and Taehyung's marriage was fixed for a long time (not officially)
But uk while talking and all...
But then ofc this marriage 'contract' had to happen. Plus, Kim Taehyung is an orphan and was raised by his aunt and uncle as I mentioned in the beginning, but as yk, everybody outside is oblivious to this fact, even them. Aunt deluna and Nara. That's why he is addressing to his aunt as mom while talking to them. [is this too complicated?]
These 2 are unaware about those stuff.

I Hope the storyline is good. If not do comment 😬
Alr. Then baaaaiii♥️
