(Timeskip: After two weeks.)
At Jimin's house.

Yn's pov

"Yn, please, at least have something to eat," Jimin pleaded softly, nudging the plate of pasta closer to her.

Yn remained unresponsive, her gaze fixed on the wall, her eyes void of any emotion. She clung tightly to her knees, her arms wrapped around them as she sat on the chair.

"Come on, Yn. How long are you going to subject yourself to this pain? Look at me, please. It's been two weeks since you've spoken or eaten properly. I'm worried," Jimin expressed, his voice filled with concern.

"Don't," Yn uttered slowly, causing Jimin to furrow his eyebrows in confusion.

"Don't worry, Jimin. I'm fine," she whispered softly.

Jimin sighed, his tone comforting as he addressed her, "Here we go again. Look at yourself, please. We'll figure this out."

Yn asked, her voice barely audible, "Did you find out?"

Jimin paused for a moment, trying to comprehend her question, and then nodded, signaling her to continue.

"He did attend your college. But he dropped out right before his internship... And after three months, he took over the Kim Enterprises," Jimin revealed, his spoon fidgeting nervously.

Yn nodded, taking a deep breath. "And?"

"And?" Jimin repeated, a tinge of disappointment in his voice. "That's all I could find. The history of the Kim family is highly confidential. Even with my investigative skills, I couldn't gather more information," Jimin explained.

"Of course," Yn scoffed, her voice laced with bitterness.

"What are you planning to do, Yn? Your mother has been calling me since last week. How should I handle it?" Jimin inquired, wanting to understand her intentions.

"I'm sorry, Jimin, for burdening you with my own problems-" Yn began to apologize.

"Shut up. Seriously? You're like... you're my sister. How can I ever feel burdened by you?" Jimin interrupted, his voice filled with sincerity.

Yn continued, "I've checked out a couple of apartments to move into. The only issue is that they are all far from my office. So-"

"So, you're willing to leave everything behind?" Jimin interjected, trying to comprehend her decision.

"Yes, Jimin. I refuse to be a pawn in someone else's game. I want to erase my past and start anew," Yn declared, cutting him off.

"Okay. But what about Taehyung?" Jimin asked cautiously, biting his lip.

"What about him," Yn scoffed, her voice dripping with disappointment. "It's a dead end. A story that should have never begun in the first place. Falling for him was my biggest regret. Trusting him," she confessed, her voice quivering.

"Has he tried contacting you?" Jimin probed further.

"He called, but I didn't answer," Yn stated firmly, breaking eye contact.

"Does he know where you are?" Jimin inquired.

"I'm not sure. After getting discharged from the hospital, I packed up and came here. He did ask, but I pushed him away and made him believe I needed a break. He might be aware. Besides, where else do I have to go?" Yn finished, her voice filled with resignation.

"It's okay, munchkin," Jimin consoled, gently patting her shoulder. "You can stay with me, and I'll be here for you. Okay?"

Tears welled up in Yn's eyes as she nodded, appreciating Jimin's support.
