With two Pokémon Badges stored in her Badge Case, our hero; Aura marches boldly along the path to...

Aura stopped walking and sheepishly smiled to the others. "Where are we going?" She asked.

The group stopped and stared at her.

"How many times do I have to tell you?" Steven sighed. He knows his sister can be ditsy when it comes to battling, but it worries him still that she's a little too carefree about it. "Vermilion City." He answered.

"I heard they got a luxury crew ship." Cilan mentioned.

"The city doesn't have a Gym... right?" Aura slowly asked, but fearing she already knows the answer.

"It does." Alain mused.

Aura sulked under a tree. "Why don't I just hide under a hole for the rest of my life?"

Jin and Jun hopped off, and tried to comfort their Trainer with the others' Pokémon joining in.

"Wow, does battling really bother her that much?" Mairin asked, sweatdropping at the dark cloud looming over the girl.

Steven smiled faintly. "Aura doesn't mind battling. The problem is her low self-esteem." He sighed, getting more worried. "She just needs to find her confidence, that's all."

Zoey rubbed the back of her head. "When she's on the field, Aura's a lot more calm, but off the field, she's a nervous nelly." She sweatdropped the said girl was being restrained by Jin and Jun, when she tried to dig a hole. "Scratch that, she's a lost cause."

Everyone else sweatdropped, too.

Steven chuckled behind his hand. "That's why training with all of you will help that confidence grow." He mused before walking up to his chibi sister, who was currently crying as she was being crushed from the Pokémon sitting on her.

Continuing down the road, the group kept encountering Trainers asking for a battle. Using these chances, the group made Aura battle them to build up some confidence. So, far, she had beaten fifteen Trainers with no sweat.

"Jin, use Iron Tail!" Aura ordered.

"Eevui!" Jin jumped happily and the ran towards the small Rat Pokémon, slamming his Iron Tail on its head, sending it back to its Trainer with ease.
