After crossing the grassland, our heroes find themselves in the Safari Zone, where wild Pokémon roam free, just waiting to be captured.

Beyond the grassy fields of Fuchsia City was a thick jungle. And while they had just walked through the woods a little more than a week ago, this was a much welcome sight for them. Because the jungle here was teeming with Pokémon, happily chattering despite the presence of humans.
Hordes of Mankey swung from branch to branch above them, barely giving the group of Trainers and Pokémon a glance, as they continued on with their day. Venomoth and Venonat danced by, while Caterpie and Weedle wiggled their way down trees to finding their next meal. And all around them, they couldn't tell what was plant and what was Grass-Type Pokémon, until they started moving, as there seemed to be so many of them.
"Wow!" Mairin looked around. "This place is like a dream! Pokémon where ever you look!" Her eyes were as big as saucers as a Tangela trotted by.
"Is this the Safari Zone you talked about?" Zoey asked.
Aura shook her head. "No, this place isn't the Safari Zone." She pulled out her Guidebook and pushed some buttons, until she found what she was looking for. "Here." She turned it around and showed it to the rest of the group.
Mairin blinked. "Let's see..."
"Oh, this is a Pokémon Preservation Area." Cilan read. "Catching wild Pokémon is forbidden here."
Alain nodded. "That's not all." His eyes read some important information. "We need to find the Ranger Station. The Rangers here gets upset, whenever humans like us enter here." He explained.
"Makes sense." Zoey crossed her arms. "If someone wondered into your backyard without permission, it's annoying and upsetting."
"It is." A female voice agreed.
The bushes before the group started to rustle around, and when they looked, a round head of a pink Pokémon that they only saw in Pokémon Centres peeked out of the bushes.
"It's a Chansey." Cilan said.
But the Stone siblings and the twins laughed.
"No, it's not." Aura chuckled, smiling at the 'Chansey', that's watching them. "Hi, Auntie Xingli."
The Chansey rose higher into the air, and just like Aura said; It wasn't a Chansey, but someone wearing a Chansey cap.
It was Officer Jenny.
With a rifle.
