About nine days has passed since the movie theater event took place. I was waking up at my usual time. It was a school day. Houston and Ruth both got up. They were sitting down at the dining room table. The parents were also up. They were preparing pancakes for breakfast. "Morning everybody!" The father boomed. "Morning Dad!" We spoke back. "Well it's another work day for Mom and I. As for you three, it's going to be a school day too. I guess we have to hope that today won't be as scary as the other days that we had this year. I am still trying to think why would they be happening." Dad commented. "I don't know how these scary days would be happening Dad. I had plenty of those kinds of days myself." I answered. "Well, try to have a great day all of you." Dad requested. "We'll try." Ruth replied.

"In that case, we should try to make the best out of our days at school or during the weekend." I suggested. "That's a great idea Fred." Mom pointed out. We gladly ate our pancakes. Dad was about to eat the last piece of his pancake when suddenly, we got distracted for a second. For a short while, he thought that he was seeing only mist. Then he saw the entire dining room. He felt confused in his mind. Nobody seemed to notice this. He quickly ate up the last piece of his pancake. The family were getting themselves cleaned up one by one. I was uncertain of how the mist was acting today. I don't know if this day was going to be icy. Then I looked outside when I was done cleaning up and had a fresh pair of clothes on. There was a thick layer of mist covering the entire road and front lawn. You couldn't see any animal crawling on the ground if you could spot one. The family got into Dad's car. Mom and Dad soon got inside. Actually, after Dad backed the car out into the driveway, he went back to the garage door and locked it. The door was sealed shut and he went back. Dad was only three feet away from the driver's side door when he got distracted again. All that he could see in his mind was mist. The mist didn't seem to be doing anything. There were different sizes of clouds through out the mist that he could see in his mind. Then he could see himself next to the car he was going to be driving. He was pondering on what these visions of mist mean. Mom noticed that he was distracted. When he got into the car, that's when she took action. "Are you alright? You seem to be distracted." Mom pointed out. "I guess you can say that. I've thought that I have been seeing things." Dad replied. "Oh no. Does that mean that Dad would have to be sent to that residential facility?" I queried. "Oh no!" Houston cried. "Is that true Mom?" Ruth questioned next. "Could you three calm down? We don't know the full story yet. Besides, they might be first time occurrences." Mom responded. "Thank you dear." Dad adduced. He had the car backed out from the driveway. All the while, he was looking behind him as he rolled backwards onto the street. "I don't like how the mist is acting today. You can't see if there is anything sharp hiding on the street surface." Dad contended. "I know how you feel. Though I would be more worried about the road ahead of us. At least we can tell if there is anybody crossing the road or just walking on the road." Mom assured him. Dar carefully drove the car on the road. There were other cars that were driving on the road. I kept thinking about my time at the movie theater.

I was trying to figure out what kind of contract did Harry Herrera signed with the Red Prince. If I had to guess, I bet that he had all of those souls, minds, bodies, and blood exchanged for his mansion. I'm sure that he would do that. After all, I thought that he would want to do anything to get out from where he was staying at. The car drove carefully past several intersections and across several road surfaces. I managed to be dropped off at my school. Houston and Ruth were both dropped off at the school they usually go to. When they both got off, Ruth and Houston were beginning to worry about their father. They thought that Mom would have to send him away because he would be having some visions of some kind. Ruth remembered the time the Mist Wanderer offered to bring them to the place her big brother was staying at. They still felt a bit bad about the deal that they made with him. The car drove away as they were approaching the front door of the school. I haven't talked about what kind of jobs my parents have while they let us go to school. My father works as an accountant for the city. My mother works at a place where city vehicles get maintained. In fact, she is a mechanic for those vehicles. It does boggle my mind how she would always come back home and have clean hands. From what I've heard from her, maintaining those city maintenance vehicles is hard work. Dad dropped Mom off at the garage where the city maintenance vehicles get repaired.
