Mom had explained the plan to me the next day. We were just going to visit the hospital today. Then I will have to be in there for about some time. Or at least if they would get rid of that nightmare of those evil parents scaring me in the hospital. I don't know if I should be screaming if something bad would happen to me. I knew that I would have to be visiting that place after school. There wasn't too much mist outside. The only thing that the mist would have done is that it was hanging over the peak of roofs. The good news for the parents is that they could see the road. Just as I was finishing packing my lunch, I stared out the window. That's when I saw somebody in a beige coat from across the street. This jacket was so big that it even covered every part of the stranger's body except for one half of the legs. "Ruth, Houston." I called. They both each took turns looking out the window using a stool.

Ruth was scared when she saw this person. "Mom! Dad!" She hollered. My siblings both looked out from the window again. Though it must have been hard sharing that same stool. Mom was about to reach the window. Then I noticed a cloud that was coming from the mist overhead. It started to descend on the person who has the beige jacket. Mom only managed to see the man's body and not his head. "What is it?" Mom demanded. Ruth explained to her about the stranger that was looking at our house. Mom felt a little freaked out. Then the cloud of mist covered the stranger. In a few seconds, there was no sign of the stranger with the beige coat. I was mystified when I saw this. "How could this be?" I exclaimed. "That is strange. I didn't know that strangers could disappear into thin air." Mom commented. That when she went to get ready for another day at work. I packed my lunch in my backpack. I helped my siblings with packing their lunches. I went to put on a warm jacket. That's when I put my backpack on my back. I was thinking that this was just going to be a regular day. Though I was still nervous and sad that I might have to spend some time at some hospital. I don't know if they were going to poke needles into me or not. What if they were going to be doing some creepy experiments on me? There were some questions that lingered in my mind when the subject of the Sweet Care place came back to my mind. I went into the car that Dad was driving. Houston and Ruth went to sit at the spots they would usually sit at in the car. Mom was the last one out of the house. She made sure that the door to the house was locked. Then she walked over to the car. I felt so nervous, that I went to sleep. When I woke up again, I was still sitting in the car. Then I looked all around me. There was nobody else in the car but me.

That's when I looked outside. The mist outside seems to be worst. The mist has only covered up the whole road and the air above it. I opened the car door and got outside. "It's nearly time that you will forget everything that happened in that fictional hospital." A deep voice spoke from the mist. I couldn't tell where the voice was coming from. The mist was starting to roll up the lawn to my house. In fact, this mist also was coming up the lawns of the houses that were next to it. The stretch of street and lawns that my house touched were going to be covered in a matter of seconds. I got out from the car and closed the door. I couldn't stand being alone in the mist. That's when I came up to the front door. I managed to open it. After closing the door, I locked it behind me. That's when I went over to any other door that might connect outside somehow. Then I locked the windows. I somehow got the fear that the house might be broken into at any second. That's when I looked out from the dining room window. The mist covered everything. I couldn't understand why I would be back here. There was a moment when the mist cleared up for a section of the lawn in front of my house. There was a person that was standing in that cleared section. This person was wearing a big beige jacket. I didn't know what might happen next. I knew that I might be safe since the stranger couldn't get into the house. Then the stranger started to move. He took small steps towards my house. That's when I nervously thought of the front door. I stared at the front door. The stranger stopped when he got to the front door. He tried to jiggle the door open. That's when there was some knocking that could be heard. I thought that I might be kidnapped at any second. There was some knocking that could be heard again. Then I looked down at the section of floor next to the front door. I couldn't believe my eyes. At first, anybody would think that there was a fire that was burning outside the house. I didn't dare open the door. I thought that I might burn anyone of my hands. The light greyish stuff raised itself through the small opening underneath the door. At once, the whole door was covered. I thought for a short while, it has to be mist that's covering the door. That's when there were two footsteps that could be heard. The stranger in the beige coat had entered the house.
