The commander was still in a kind of euphoric shock.

It had been a week since King George V broke the news to him that she was carrying their child, and while he was able to execute his duties, it was always in the back of his mind that, settled peacefully inside of his lovely wife was their daughter, resting and growing and waiting to be born. Every night she would cuddle tightly to him- No, not just every night, every chance she got, seeking his love and affection. And he gave it to her, all she deserved, because she deserved it all.

That night, he had sat down on his bed, to read, and she laid down by him, soon feeling her rest her head in his lap. He smiled, and reached down to stroke her hair. "You know, I'm pretty sure it's not as comfy as yours."

She chuckled. "I'd rather be seated in your lap, but I'd prefer not to disturb your reading. But I think there's something else on your mind, as well."

"There's... A lot." He said, putting his book away. "Even if there wasn't so much else going on, this would be a momentous event for both of us. I hardly even know where to start."

King George smiled, "If I may, the thing we should be doing right now is telling someone else about this. This isn't something that we shall be able to hide, considering."

The commander agreed. There were practical problems to it. "All right, we'll do it soon."

King George agreed. "Tomorrow, then. We will tell all of my sisters, and invite any who comes to mind while we are there."

"Tomorrow?" To be honest, he hadn't actually had any better ideas, because he had thinking about... Things. Of course, he had always been able to rely on her being willing to take charge. It's one of the reasons he married her- He couldn't imagine enjoying being married to a more passive wife. "...All right, it's a good a time as any. But can you arrange it?"

She nodded slowly. "Just give me a moment." King George picked up her phone, and sent a message to all of her sisters, including Monarch. "The others will come if I say it's important, and Monarch will at least be curious."

The commander nodded. "All right, we'll tell them first, and invite others as we think of them in-between now and when we talk to them."

They had agreed to meet at What was now Howe and Monarch's place, the redhead having moved in with the youngest sister after King George had vacated her old home to move in with the commander. The commander was the one who knocked on the door, and Howe was the one who answered. "Oh! Come in! We can't wait to hear what the two of you have to tell us. I'd say we're all here, but you could probably see that for yourself."

"Thank you."

The two of them went in, and found that all of the sisters were in the living room, having taken seats while waiting for the pair. The couple sat down next to each other on a couch, which had been left for them.

Wales spoke up first. "...I guess there's not much for us to add right now, seeing as we're all here for the same reason- We're here to hear whatever special announcement you have to make. It seemed to be something of great urgency?"

Monarch settled in. "She wouldn't have made it on such short notice if it wasn't. and I think we should hear them out before saying anything else. No need to delay what we are being asked to consider."

The commander gave a nod to the assembled sisters, and King George held his hand. "All of you have noticed that are a couple of ways that King George has been behaving a bit oddly recently, and she took that to heart, and went to see Vestal. She needed to go a couple of times to confirm it, but there is no doubt about it now."
