"Ano?!"
"Yeah, you heard it right, Hiro. They want me to get married sa anak ng Mr. Garcia na iyon next freaking week!"
"The heck?! Ano bang iniisip nila Tito?"
"For all I know, they want to run this project smoothly."
"Nakausap mo ba si Payton? Maybe you can convince her na huwag ng ituloy. Baka ayaw niya rin sa desisyon na iyon."
"I'll try to meet her secretly later. While I'm away, guard the company, Hiro. You're the only one na pinagkakatiwalaan ko."
He smiled. "Don't worry. Hindi mo ba sasabihin kay ate Wish?"
"Hiro, she has a family. Quinn and her also have problems kaya I don't want to include them."
"Sige. Huwag kang mag-alala. Nandito lang ako. Kami nila Margarette." I nodded.
"What's going on?" I closed my eyes upon hearing that voice behind me.
"Crystal..kanina ka pa?" Hiro asked.
"Yes. Enough to hear everything. Max, why aren't you telling me na malaki na ang problema mo? You know, I can help, right?!"
"Crystal, I can handle it-"
"No. I'll help."
Hiro nodded at me kaya I sighed.
"Fine. I know hindi ka titigil ng pangungulit." She scoffed and umupo na sa couch.
"So? Drop all the details, my ex girlfriend." I know that was a joke kaya natawa si Hiro
"Dad wanted me to get married sa anak ni Mr. Garcia."
"Hmmm. Okay."
"You don't look shocked."
She crossed her legs and stared at me seriously.
"That is not shocking in this life and status we're living, Max. You know what's shocking? If they'll allow us to like or even love the person we wanted to."
She's right.
"So I heard it a while ago na kakausapin mo ang girl na iyon?"
"Yeah. I'll try to convince her not to continue the said proposal."
"And what if she'll let your dad know?"
"Same as before, hindi ako susunod."
"Pero iba na ngayon. Okay lang sana kung hindi ka susunod kung wala kang girlfriend. You have Margarette na, Max." Hiro said.
"I'll protect her as long as I'm alive, Hiro."
"Let's go? Ano pang hinihintay natin?" Crystal said while getting up.
"Teka lang, alam mo na ba ang traydor sa kompanya?" Tanong ni Hiro kay Crystal.
"What?!"
"Apparently, someone placed a hidden camera sa gamit ko dito sa office."
"F*ck!" She exclaimed.
"Makakamura ka na lang sa daming problema talaga hays." Hiro said.
"Do you think may kinalaman si Lyca?" I asked.
"I don't think so."
She replied that gained confusion from me and Hiro.
"Akala ko pa naman agree ka dahil ayaw mo sa babaeng iyon." Hiro said while giggling.
