Chapter 22

Max's POV

I entered my office and called Eve. Crystal and Hiro didn't know yet about what happened between me and Margarette yesterday.

We really broke up..

I sighed and massage my temple.

*Knocks*

I rested my back on the chair. "Come in." I said.

"Boss, bakit po?"

"Cancel all my plans for today."

"O-okay po."

"Eve, is Hiro already here or Crystal?"

"Ah, wala pa po si sir Hiro, boss, kasi siya po ang nagsundo kay Ms. Elly sa airport."

I nodded. "How about Crystal?"

"She's in her photoshoot pa po. Matatapos na siya in less than 10 minutes."

"Okay. Tell her to come here after her shoot."

"Okay po. Ay si Ms. Lyca nga po pala, gusto kayong makausap."

"Why?"

"Hindi ko po alam, boss."

"Just tell her I'll meet her later."

"Okay po." After she left, I opened my phone and natigilan ako dahil Margarette is my wallpaper.

"I won't lose you this time.. I'll get you back." I mumbled.

I was about to open my cabinet pero something's odd.

I immediately opened it and to my suspicions, everything was disarranged.

Someone opened it.

Good thing walang nawala. I looked around and nothing was suspicious.

I immediately locked it and went to the security room.

"Good morning, boss."

"Morning. Can you give me the footage of the CCTV in my office?"

"Time range po, boss?"

"Around 5 - 7 pm."

They immediately checked the footage and to my dismay, walang footage.

"Damn it. Bakit wala pa rin?" I annoyingly said.

"Hindi rin po namin alam, boss. Possible po atang we're hacked. Someone's deleting the footage, boss. Anong gusto niyong gawin namin?"

"Make sure to hire someone capable of stopping this hacking matter. Mas maging focus kayo 24/7. Do you understand?"

"Yes, boss."

"Make sure walang ibang makakaalam."

They all nodded and began their work.

I sighed and calmed myself down. I shouldn't let this go in my head.

I went back to my office and looked around.

Should I see Lyca later?

"Hey, Maxy. What's up?" I didn't say anything and hugged her immediately.

She caressed my back. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I messed up."

"Hmm? What do you mean, Max?" She asked kaya I broke the hug.

"Margarette and I..broke up."

Crystal just looked at me in shock kaya I nodded indicating her it's real.
