Chapter 24

*2 months later*

Max's POV

"This is fine, right?"

I looked at her and nod.

"Max, don't make it so obvious na you're not liking this."

"Payton, I don't want to act. I can't act like I am enjoying being here with you."

"Kasal na natin bukas and yet you're being like this. Rude." 

"I don't care." I said while looking around not minding what she's saying.

Our wedding got delayed for some unknown reason kaya it took two months for it to happen and tomorrow na raw.

While I am here sa Spain, sinasabi naman sa akin ni Crystal and Hiro ang mga happenings sa Manila.

Sadly, they still don't know who the culprit sa nangyari kay Lyca and the spy sa kompanya.

Crystal said may nawawala raw na mga files sa kompanya and last month we lost 3 million pesos. My parents were  frustrated about it and lalo na ako.

"Max, you'll wear a suit, right?"

"Anything."

"Okay. I'll pick one for you-"

"I can manage, Payton. Do your thing and I'll do mine." I said and left her.

I sighed and open my social media accounts to check some news.

"Max Zykel Alonzo and Payton Garcia are expected to get married this month."

"Margarette Vion Santos has deactivated all her social media accounts after their break up."

I sighed and turned off my phone. I was about to walk nang I noticed someone is watching me from my left side.

I looked at that person kaya he suddenly walked away while wearing his hoodie.

Iyan din ang hindi na shocking, I've always had stalkers before pero iba ngayon parang someone is making a note sa mga actions ko rito sa Spain which is unusual kasi hindi naman ako kilala rito sa Spain not like sa Philippines.

I can't help but feel anxious.

"Max!" I looked back and saw Payton carrying a lot of paper bags kaya I helped her sa iba. 

"What?"

"You look like you were looking for someone."

"Ah, nothing. I thought I saw someone familiar but I was wrong."

"Okay. By the way, Dad and Mom are already at the house so let's go back."

I nodded and walked first.

"Wait nga!"

I rolled my eyes. "What?"

"Act sweet ka nga baka may mga paparazzi!"

"No, thanks." I said and left her being annoyed.

Act sweet sa kanya? No way.

As soon as I opened the door, someone greeted and hugged me out of nowhere.

"Hi-Hiro?! What the.."

He laughed and broke the hug.

"Surprise!"

"So how's my surprise?" Payton asked while smiling.
