I've got three drama offers after that dating rumor. Two of them are the character as female leads while the other one is a character as the female lead's best friend. I've decided to take the latter, since taking a female lead character would be a big pressure to me and I want to starts slowly.
I'm not going to play a big role for now since it is a main character so I need to do really well to potray it. That's why I'm just going to take the role that play as the best friend. I skimmed the scripts and read it, satisfied with the amount of screen time. Not too much to the point that I'll feel overwhelmed, and not too less to the point that I barely participate in the drama.
The best friend will be a supporting role for all the things that the female lead went through. You know, the typical energetic best friend that you always see in every drama. The title of the drama is 'City Lights', and is directed by Park Kijung, a director that is well-known for high ratings in all the dramas that he directed. Eventhough I got the offer, I still need to attend the audition.
Finally, it's the day of the audition. I've practiced a lot to interpret the character accurately. Since the best friend caharacter, Choi Eunjo, has bright and cheerful energy just like Wonhee, I've imagine myself as Wonhee and act like her. I observed the way she talk, her expression, body language, and I act like her when I practiced the script for Choi Eunjo.
"No. 34, Heo Yeonwoo, please come in."
"Alright." I stands up before I turn my head to Wonhee as she gives me a big smile and a fist up in the air.
"Good luck and all the best!" She said excitedly as I chuckled and nod my head.
I enter the audition room and there I saw four people that host the audition. I walk to the middle of the room and stand there. "Hello! Number 34, I'm Heo Yeonwoo! I've prepared the role of Choi Eunjo, the best friend. Please take care of me!"
I observed their reactions one by one. Eventhough I may look calm, but honestly I am very nervous. I saw a small smile on their faces which made me a little relief.
"Alright, miss Yeonwoo. Are you ready?"
I took a deep breath and let it out. I can do this, I've been practicing hard so I should not mess this up. I'm going to prove to them that I am not the Heo Yeonwoo that is 'dating' Jake Shim, but as a worthy actress Heo Yeonwoo.
"Yes, let's begin."

"Ah!" Wonhee exclaimed as soon as I open the door and walk out from it.
She walks to me and wrapped her arm around my shoulder. "Why did it took so long? I was so nervous that there's something happen inside there." She looks at me worriedly.
I gives her an assurance smile. "I asked for two more improvisations besides the one I prepared."
Wonhee's face lit up. "What? Two? They must've liked it!"
