"Yeonwoo-ah! You got casted to be the female lead for the new movie called 'All For Love'!" Wonhee shouted as soon as I answer her phone call.
I put away my phone, feeling my ears ringing, before her words slowly progressing in my mind. "What? Seriously?"
"Yes! The director saw your potential in bringing the character of Moon Haeju to live." She starts squealing which made me winced but still released a chuckled. "I can't believe it, this is going to be your first role as the female lead! You're getting a step closer to be a recognized actress."
Tears formed in my eyes and I blink it away. It is truly a dreams come true.
"Another thing is- listen and don't freak out, okay?" I raised my eyebrows and nod my head eventhough Wonhee can't see it. "Your love interest in the movie is... Park Jay!"
I almost throw my phone away and let out a loudest gasp. "No way! He'll be in the movie too?"
"Yeah, the movie's story kinda suits him though." She explained while I'm walking to the living room and turn on the television.
Coincidentally, Park Jay appear on the television as an ad for a skincare product. He's one of the actor that I have a lot of respect and look up to. I can't believe that I'm going to work along with him, this is making me really nervous.
"Who are the other confirmed actors that I'm going to work with?"
"The second lead couple will be Hwang Hyunjin and..." She trailed off and I wait patiently, feeling weird why she seems hesitated. "... Oh Eunhye."
"Oh."
My mind went blank. I can't believe I'm going to act along with her. Oh Eunhye is the most popular actress right now and has won a daesang this year. She's also in the same agency with me.
The thing about Eunhye is, I always got a weird vibe from her. Everytime we walk passed each other at the agency's building, she would look at me in a weird way. Though she's smiling, but the eyes can't lie. It's the look as if... she's looking down on me.
Well, I can't say anything much about her because we're not close and I never exchange a conversation with her, just passing by each other. Maybe I'm just being overthinking, I should not think bad about other people.
I shakes my head, trying to shoo away those bad thoughts. "You're going to a script reading tomorrow." Wonhee's voice woke me up from my own thoughts.
"Oh, alright." We then talked a bit about my future schedule before we hung up.
I don't have any filming for today and since my role is just a minor one, so I'm not that busy and can take another job. That's why I accepted the offer for this new movie. Since I don't have a lot of scene left to film, so my schedule is not as tight as before.
I look at the round, beige colored clock that is hanging above the television. 11:47 p.m. and Jake is still not home. I sigh and shakes my head. Why should I worry about him, he can take care of himself. He's a grown man.
