"Wait a minute, Hyerim-ah! If you keep behaving like this, you'll end up losing him to someone else!" I shouted while grabbing Nayeon's arm as she turn around, tears falling from her eyes and I stare at her in surprised, eyebrows furrowed.
"And cut! Good job!"
I let go of Nayeon's arm and she quickly wipe away her tears, giving me a big smile.
"Yeonwoo-ssi, I really like that expression. You're a really good actress so I don't know why you're not getting the recognition." The director came to me and pat my shoulder, a big satisfied smile on his face.
"Thank you, director-nim. I will try my best to give a better performance for the next scene." He gives me a smile before he went to one of the crew to discuss something.
"He's right, Yeonwoo-ah. You're really good at acting, you know how to play your role perfectly and you can naturally lead your co-star to get right inside the character. I had fun working with you." Nayeon chirped as I shyly thanked her.
This is it. Finally, my acting ability got recognized. This is the start of everything. I'm going to improve myself so I won't disappoint them.
"Good work both of you." Both of us turn our head to see two tall men approaching us.
The leads of the drama, Lee Heeseung and Yoon Hyunsuk. Both of them are so tall that I need to crane my neck to look up at them. They're totally a celebrity, their aura radiates one even if they're just standing still. It feels like there's a spotlight that follows them everywhere they go that made them noticeable even from afar.
As an actress, I can't help but paying respect to them.
"Oh, right Yeonwoo-ssi. You're going to get married this Saturday, right?" Heeseung asked me.
Hearing that, my mood suddenly went down but I still manage to show them a smile so they won't suspect anything. "Yeah, I posted the invitation card to all of you. Did you received it?"
They nod their heads in unison as Nayeon grab my hand, her eyes shining in delight. "Congrats, Yeonwoo-ah! I can't believe you're going to get married soon!"
I also can't believe it, honestly. All of this still feels like a cruel prank to me and I hope this prank will be over soon.
"Congratulations, I hope your marriage will last long." Hyunsuk wished to me but I mentally let out a bitter chuckle. Yeah, last long for three months.
"We'll make sure to attend your wedding. You must be so excited, right?" This time, it's Heeseung that said it. He really don't know anything, his smile is so innocent.
I force a smile as genuine as I could to them. "I'm actually quite nervous."
Nayeon gasped. "Don't worry, we'll be there to support you! I mean, of course you'd be nervous. I'd be too." She chuckled.
