Bright lights, loud cheers, celebrities greeting each other, the sound of the music for the opening.
Finally, it's drama awards show.
"Yes! The ABC drama awards are being broadcast live! Currently, only the prestigious daesang award remains to be announced."
"The announcement of the winners will be done by Park Jay, who won daesang last year!"
The spotlight pointed at the tall figure that is standing on the middle of the stage after the MCs of the award show presented the announcer. Park Jay, the most popular actor in Korea and asia that shocked the hallyu waves. All of the dramas and movies he's in, especially when he is the main lead, will always reach a high ratings.
The audience cheered loudly, the actor can feel the stage is shaking. A smile slipped on his mouth, looking at everyone in the studio with eyes full of love and grateful to received the supports. The golden light that points at him and only him made it looks like he is the main character even outside the television.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I am Park Jay, very honored to be assigned the responsibility of announcing the winner." The audience cheered again making the actor chuckled. He squinted his eyes while making a hissing sound as a sign that he's very stunned with the energy that the audience gave.
He nod his head while smiling before he continue speaking. "So that you don't have to wait any longer, I will announce it soon." He open the envelope where it shown the name of the winner. He raised his eyebrows in interest, pouting his lips, while nodding his head before he look back to the front with a big smile on his face. "This year's daesang award-winning artist of ABC is..."
Jay paused for a while to leaves a suspense to te audience as he smirks. "Miss Oh Eunhye! Congratulations!"
He clapped his hands along with the audience that roared loudly. Oh Eunhye cupped her mouth in surprised, tears in her eyes before she stands up to walk to the stage.
"Actress Oh Eunhye performed excellently, her acting ability was unmatched in the movie 'Moonlight'." Jay speaks while she's walking towards him. "It has received a lot of appreciation from the audience. Congratulations!" Jay ended his speech while giving a big applause to her.
He gives the award and a bouquet of flower to her as soon as she arrived on stage. Eunhye look at him shyly before she carefully take them from his hands. Jay step back to gives her a space for her to say her speech at the microphone.
The audience went quiet to listen to her. Eunhye holds the microphone and lean closer to it. "Ah first, I'm really grateful to all of you. I really don't know how to thank you enough-"
The television went pitch black as a reflection of a woman staring at the black screen appeared on it. Yeonwoo heaves out a heavy sigh before she pull up her legs on the sofa and hug it. She put her chin on her knees while staring sadly at the television.
