Chapter 19

Lunars POV

I let out a loud scream as Shido injects some liquid into my arm. "Oh shut it, it isn't that bad," he says, rolling his eyes. I sigh and wince. Over the past few days there have been constant tests, usually involving needles and a lot of pain.

I sigh, this is my life now. I miss the boys terribly. Especially Adam. I wish I kissed him once more before I left. They have probably already forgotten about me, their new album is almost ready to be released. I'm sure I'm the least of their worries.

After a few more tests he allows me to go back to my 'bed' - if you can even call it that - to rest. I lay on the itchy mattress and cry into the pillow. I want to be with the boys again. I want to be home. I just didn't want them hurt. I never want them hurt.

Adams POV

I need to practice. I need to practice but playing bass just reminds me of her. I need her back. I want her back. I love her so much.

I trudge into the practice room, Bono says that they need one last song then the album will be finished. Bono sings the lyrics he wrote, hitting a note I haven't heard him hit before. They are quite good but all I can think about is Lunar.

Shido is evil, he is one of those people who you just know is creepy from looking at them. I'm scared that he is hurting Lunar. Badly.

Larry's POV

After practising the new song for a while we stop, though Adam stopped a long time ago and was just sitting on his amp. I go over to him and rest my hand lightly on his shoulder.

"Sparks? Why don't we try to find her?" I say. Adam looks up sadly "How? We don't have a clue where she has gone." Bono and Edge look up and come over.

"We do. Remember when we were at that restaurant? Lunar told us about where the lab was. I can vaguely remember some of the things she said," I say.

"I remember that!" Edge says, "She said that it was on the outskirts of Kira*, in the forest beside Lake K Light." Bono nods "She said the lab was underground and they escaped through a vent that went up the side of the building. The lab was huge and part of it was underneath the lake."

"Y-You really think we can get her?" Adam says in awe. I nod along with Bono and Edge. "We can do this, now cheer up, Sparks! It's all gonna be fine!" Bono says with a smile.

((*Kira is a made up place, so is Lake K Light. The described places do not exist except for of course Dublin. And it is named because Kira means killer in a language that I forgot 😊))
