The night was just like any other night; the breeze was gentle and warm while the sky shimmered and sparkled with stars beyond counting, the silence was a welcoming thing to listen to during the hours of the sleep. But the silence was gone once the cities alarm went off waking the whole entire city; awaking to the nightmare before her was something no child wished to see while being dragged out of bed by her maid to escape the attack on the city.

The cries and screams for those who were frightened by this unexpected attack on the city rang loudly in her ears, while the sounds of the fight and fighter jets echoed in the distant; the voice of her maid shouted at her over the screams and cries around them both.

"We're almost there, princess!!" she screamed while taking a corner to the right and then down to the left, never letting go of her small hand while dragging her through the halls that were slowly falling apart around them by the bombing and canon fire.

But the face of troopers came to the sight of the young girl's face, letting out a scream when they pointed out their guns and didn't wait a moment longer to shoot them both on sight. Only to be covered up by her maid that fell on top of her to hide her from the stormtroopers.

With a violent jerk, Qyn awoke from her nightmare that plagued her for seventeen years; sighing heavily she slightly leaned back against the wall behind her bed. Her dark blue hair was a mess from how long she slept, rubbing her purple eyes gently to wake up a bit more before getting off of her bed to brush her hair and teeth. Her attire was of different grey tone colors, grey tight leggings outlined by light weight armor and high knee boots; her shirt was just made up of old rags she found and put them all together for a tank top that was also slightly covered by light weight armor and leather gloves to cover up her hands, her light saber was on her left hip for her right arm to grab it for a fight; once dressed she placed her hair in a half messy bun style when making her way to the cockpit of her ship that was perfect for one person and not a whole crew like most ships.

Hopping into the seat she pushed a couple of buttons in from of her, letting the windows of her ship open up to show her the vast darkness of the galaxy with the stars to light up the pitch black around her; but the sight of her home was enough to make her calm down from her haunting nightmare from earlier, Jakku wasn't truly home but home enough to survive these past seventeen years. Not to mention she had her sister to look after and being a bounty hunter, it took her away from Jakku and away from her sister for a couple of months; they did stay in touch while Wyn traveled the galaxy to make a couple of credits. Saving up enough to take Rey away from this dust bowl of a planet was her plan but Rey was so stubborn when it came to staying on Jakku until her parents return for her.

Parents, the word was funny to Qyn it gave her an awful taste in her mouth when Rey spoke about waiting for her parents; Qyn didn't have fond memories of her parents having a mother who did nothing but run her daughter mad with studies of the force and of the whole galaxy around their planet or what was their planet seventeen years ago. Her father was never around either, but when he did come home it was never for a good reason and the shouting from her parents always kept her up at night.

Flying into Jakku was a nice change of pace, coming back from the endless night out in space and into the sunny sky yet hot day of the planet of Jakku; Qyn couldn't help but smiled a bit when flying around Jakku over the dunes and down into the valley's filled with old battle ships from the old wars everyone talked about in the big cities. Glancing out her window Qyn looked for a spot to land when getting closer to where Rey lived out in Jakku, it was about a day's ride to the scavenger camp to the east from where Qyn landed her jet.

Pushing a couple of more buttons above her head, Qyn's chair soon descended down stopping inches from the sand below her feet; unbuckling herself from her chair she climbed out of the chair to march to the old broken-down AT-AT Walker.

"Rey! I'm back" Qyn yelled out so Rey could hear her as she walked up to the AT-AT Walker.

But no answer came back to Qyn, normally Rey would jump up and rush to meet her before heading out to scavenge out the old ships she climbed and explored in for extra food. Something felt very wrong here when Qyn looked into the AT-AT machine, her heart dropped when she didn't see a sign of Rey anywhere; Qyn made sure to tell Rey she was returning back to Jakku today and she was always her waiting to greet her.

"Rey!!" she shouted out letting her voice ring out to the emptiness of the Jakku desert only to be met with silence again.

Her heart raced with worry when she rushed back to her jet again, climbing into the seat and being brought back up to the control panel to start up her jet again; taking off to the scavenger camp to see if Rey was staying there late from collect junk again.

"No, no, no" Qyn whispered to herself when the sight of the camp covered in smoke and left in a chaos mess made her worried greatly when landing her jet and rushing out of her chair before it lowered enough for her to get out.

"Rey! Rey!" Qyn shouted again when looking around the camp seeing how the others here were trying to pick up what was pushed or blasted away.

Her purple eyes glazed over the chaos around her when she didn't hear or see Rey anywhere in sight from where she stood; but the familiar sound of stormtroopers behind her was enough to send her into a rage when she slowly turned towards them reaching for her light saber to strike them down for information, she needed to find her sister.
