Unknown Force

Chapter 8

Qyn didn't know how much time was left when she started hearing the fighting outside; she still followed the force of Rey to find her anywhere in the building, but Qyn was led to a very, very large control room. She could barely see the top, but she was certain she couldn't see the bottom when she looked down over the railing in front of her. 

"Must be the main control for this place" she said to herself when making her way down some stairs to find another way out of here.

Walking in the big room that seemed so eerie quiet around her, she thought she could hear a faint beeping sound which made her look up to her left; they weren't hard to see when you could see them but for the plan to use bombs in this place must meant someone was around here planting these bombs. Walking a little further into the metal structure to figure out who was here but that was answered when she bumped into someone making her spin around ready to turn on her saber.

"Hey, hey! Calm down it's me" the sight of Han in front of her came to her sights when he was holding up his hands in front of her.

"Fuck, what the hell are you doing here?" she cursed under her breath before putting away her saber, placing her hands on her hips.

"Saving you, your welcome by the way not to mention this place is about to blow up the planet the resistance is on we need to make an opening for them to blow this up first" Han pointed to her before explaining why they were still here in the first place.

"Is Rey okay, is she safe?" she sighed worried about her sister wishing to know where the hell her sister was.

"Outside with Finn waiting to get the hell out of here" Han explained while placing another bomb and setting it to blow up by a trigger.

Qyn wished to speak again but the sound of stormtroopers came to their ears; ducking behind the metal structure again they moved around the troopers that were looking for them and willing to shoot them on sight if they got caught by them, Qyn could sense Kylo was in the room, and he was close; it sent a slight shiver down her spine when she followed Han who stopped in front of her. Stepping out a few inches out she saw Kylo walking around just in front of them, heading to the large metal bridge that connected to the other side of the hole in the middle, looking at Han she saw a look of guilt wash over him as he watched Kylo walking away. Qyn grabbed onto Han's right arm to stop him from going after Kylo having a terrible gut feeling inside of her if he went out there.

"We need to leave" she whispered enough for him to hear her.

"I need to talk to him, Qyn; I made a promise" he said to her when ripping his arm out of her grip.

"Promises are easily broken" she hissed out when Han walked away from her to walk towards the bridge to talk to Kylo face to face and all she could do was watch from where she stood.

"BEN!" Han yelled out letting his voice echo through the large room.

Kylo paused where he stood, was that his true name Ben? Why did he wish to change his name? Did he hate his parents so much that he changed it completely to forget who they were and to start over with the order? So many questions went through Qyn's mind when she saw Kylo turn around to face Han.
