Unknown Force

Chapter 4

"Rey!!" Qyn shouted over the chaos that was now upon the planet, her light saber glowed brightly when slicing through the stormtroopers and their attacks; knocking back some of their blasters to hit them from afar.

Qyn was rushing towards the forest not letting anything or anyone get in her way to get to her sister; making sure she was safe and unharmed was her biggest concerned right now, even if Qyn was left with a single arm and leg she would still be worried about her sister over her own safety. Qyn charged in to some stormtroopers, cutting them down without mercy slicing through them like they were butter; she huffed out some frustration when making her way to the forest hearing some fighting coming from that direction, but she somehow paused. Feeling another source of power of the force to her left it was a power force that caught her attention and brought her to turn to her left to see where the power was coming from, seeing the tall man dressed in black covered by a mask and hood made a shiver run down her spine; she might not have seen his eyes but she felt like they were glued to her when he stood there amongst the chaos around them.

The shooting coming from the forest broke Qyn's attention away from the mysterious man in front of her; taking off into a sprint Qyn didn't see the man followed her to the forest. 

"Rey!" Qyn called out to her when finding a few troopers dead on the ground by a blaster shot.

"Qyn, over here" Rey called out when she saw her running towards her without the droid behind her.

Qyn was relieved when Rey wasn't harmed by the fighting, she wrapped her arms around her sister holding her close; not knowing she was shaking when she was holding Rey in her arms.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" Qyn held Rey by her shoulders, looking her over for any injuries.

"No, I'm fine, we have to get out of here" Rey said confirming about her having no injuries when she glanced around the forest that was somehow quiet around them even with the fighting going on.

Qyn was going to take Rey's hand into hers, to help guide her back to the jet so that they could escape this planet and go back to Jakku; but something felt off to Qyn when she paused for a brief moment. Turning her saber on once more made Rey jump a bit with a worried look when glancing between Qyn and the saber in her hand.

"Whatever happens to me, do not stop running you keep going, do you understand?" Qyn spoke looking directly at Rey in her eyes becoming serious from her worried state seconds ago.

"Qyn what is i-" Rey was about to ask Qyn but she was silence by the strong grip of Qyn's hand on her arm.

"Do you understand?" she growled a bit in a harsh whisper to Rey again.

Rey could only nod her head before, Qyn slightly pushed her away from herself and turn back to where she sensed the same power, she felt moments ago; knowing Rey took off running Qyn stood her ground with her saber at her side.

"Care to show yourself? Or do you like creeping around in the dark?" Qyn spoke to the person she sensed coming up behind her from before, taunting him into attacking her.

In an instant the man she spoke to stepped out into the open; with his red-light saber in his hand and ready to fight, Qyn could only smirk when she charged in and swung first; clashing against his saber with hers, he pushed her away with ease that made her stumble back a little bit. Qyn couldn't help but chuckle a bit not really remembering when the last time she ever a good challenge from anyone, the man swung again but Qyn dodged by wall hopping on the rocks that surrounded them both.

"You'll have to do better than that" she taunted again when throwing a knife towards him, but he blocked it with a flick of his saber.

She tried keeping her distance away from him until getting into more open areas in the forest; she turned around once more before he blocked it with his saber once more, in a quick draw he held out his free hand using his force to pull Qyn's arms together behind her back which made her drop her saber that shut off.

"The girl I heard so much about" his voice was deep and smooth with a robotic tone, while he walked towards her still looking directly in the eyes.

"I don't know whether to be honored or vomit" Qyn said while struggling to break free from his force that seemed to be stronger than most which impressed her.

He seemed to ignore her taunts and slightly walk pass her trying to intimidate some sort of fear to her, but it somewhat irked him that Qyn didn't even bother to flinch or whimper for any sort of mercy from him.

"The droid, where is it?" he asked when turning back towards her, pointing his saber against her neck.

Qyn slightly moved her eyes to her left seeing the red glow of his saber, hearing the loud humming that came from it and feeling the heat that radiated off of it.

"Honestly no idea" she said still not being bothered by being tied down like this, honestly, she found it a nice change of pace to be tied up like this for once.

The man didn't like her answer when he took his saber away from her neck; soon returning to her eyesight when standing in front of her, staring at the black mask that covered the man's face. Qyn couldn't help but blink a couple of times to clear her vision from the dight that was haunting her the more she looked at that mask, it was a terrible reminder of what her father used to be. This didn't go unnoticed by him when seeing the slightly fear that creeped into her purple eyes that seemed to shine like amethyst in the sunlight. Lifting his hand up to see through her thoughts which felt a little painful when someone was in her mind, she greeted her teeth when trying to hold up to the pain in her brain.

"You know who has seen it" he spoke to her again when looking through her mind for the map at all.

"Sir, resistance fighter we need more troops" a trooper spoke from behind them, grabbing the man's attention away from Qyn for only a moment.

"Pull the division out, we have what we need" he spoke to the men before turning back to Qyn, standing behind her when lifting his hand up once more.

Qyn felt her body become heavy when the force was released from her body; but felt two strong arms catch her before she fell to the ground, blacking out from the power that shut down her mind for only a moment.
