Ending

"What can I help you with, general?" Qyn asked while she and Leia sat in front of each other on some crates while everyone else around them were packing things up; to move to another planet to call for help.

"Call me Leia titles don't mean much really, but what I wished to talk to you about was I would like if you were willing to do this; to go under cover they don't know you are a bounty hunter" Leia gave her a gentle smile knowing that titles didn't really mean much to her, once she asked her main question not pushing her to do this mission, but Qyn had a feeling this had more to do than a simple undercover mission.

"What would you need me to do once I'm in there?" she asked when leaning slightly forward, placing her elbow on her legs.

"Anything would help us, but for a personal matter I would like you to try and save Ben" Leia said that what she gathered would help but she had a sad look on her face when she mentioned her son Ben.

Hearing his name made Qyn's mind flashback to his face when she was fighting against him and how he looked when she even called him Ben herself; it was like he was trying to bury the past and kill it. She sighed heavily knowing that this would be hard but how could she even help him when she couldn't even stop him from killing Han.

"How can I help him? I couldn't even stop him from killing Han" Qyn asked when looking at Leia with a sad look when remembering that moment.

"Because your just like him, you know what it's like; I can sense the light and darkness inside of you. I know that you can reach him, show him that he isn't alone" Leia took Qyn's hands in her hands; having a gut feeling that Qyn was able to reach him even if it was a small bit anything would help.

Qyn sighed again thinking about how all of this could go; she could go and act like the bounty hunter that she was known to be, she could have success and reach Ben somehow and bring him away from the dark side and erase Kylo Ren forever or the worse outcome, she fails and is killed. There were so many things that could go wrong and very less things that could go right for her.

"I can try my best; but I can't promise anything" Qyn said when looking back at Leia trying to give her hope some way.

"That is all I can ask for" she said with a warm smile on her face, Leia even surprised Qyn when she brought her into a hug that made Qyn tense from the touch.

"Be safe" Leia said when she released her form the hug and walked away to continue to help the others with the mission, they were acting on now.

Qyn sighed again when placing her hands on her hips; knowing she needed to do this but also not wanting to do it at the same time but, it was time she stopped running from her past and help Ben with his drama. 

Once Qyn was cleared by the medical team; she got ready to dress her part for the bounty hunter mission she was placed on, her clothes stayed the same, but she placed a mask over her head that covered her mouth and nose, knowing Kylo would recognize her by her hair and eyes she took something out of her pouch. Activating the small circle metal chip, she placed it on her neck under her mask that covered her neck; the chip changed her hair color to a regular brown that she tied up into a braid. It even changed her eyes to a gentle lime green color, now she didn't need to worry about being recognized by Kylo once she appeared in front of the first order, it was going to be strange going back to a life she used to be a part of for ten years.

Walking out of the spare room she made her way out to the jets, holding her backpack over her shoulder; she was nervous when she was loading up her jet when Rey came rushing over to her knowing she was going to leave and not join Rey in finding Skywalker.

"You sure about this mission?" Rey asked when she came in ear shot as Qyn checked her guns and cargo.

"No, but I have to do this" she said when loading her backpack on board and checking her fuel tank.

"For Leia or you?" Rey suddenly asked her which made Qyn pause in her movement, the question was a big one to ask; was she doing this for Leia? Or was she doing this for herself?

"Honestly sis, I don't know, and I know that you have to go off; even though I don't like it" Qyn shrugged her shoulders when she turned to look at Rey knowing she didn't know why she truly wanted to do this.

"I'll be fine, it's you who I'm worried about; what if you truly go back to the dark side?" Rey said while stepping closer to Qyn asking the major questions.

It was true, Qyn was on a thin balance between the light and dark; Rey has seen her dark side when she was a young girl when being bullied by others and Qyn lost her temper and almost killed the bullies.

"I promise that won't happen; nothing will change when you see me again" she said to Rey when placing her hands on her shoulder; making a promise she is determined to keep to her sister.

Rey nods her head when wrapping her arms around her; Qyn wrapped her arms around Rey knowing she won't see her for a long while now, but like Maz said to her before there was no avoiding this now and they were both in deep.

Once saying goodbyes to Rey, Qyn loaded up into her jet; clicking a few buttons bringing the machine to life that began to float up high enough for her to take off and leave the planet, taking off from the base she was in space in a flash; bringing up the logs that Leia gave her was enough for her to find where the first order ship was. This would be her toughest mission yet and she needed to play it close to the chest if she wanted to get out of this alive, coming out of hipper space she could see the ship in front of her; it was large, larger than she expected it to be, and it made her blood run cold when returning to this place once again after ten years.

"Unauthorized jet, identify yourself or we will open fire" a voice from her open radio came out, warning her that she needed to speak to them or be killed on sight.

"This is Galaxy Killer, I heard you could use help in hunting down the resistance scum" was all she needed to say for her bounty hunter name was well known through the galaxy.

"Galaxy Killer you are clear to board" the voice told her before turning off from the radio.

Qyn took a deep breath in before letting it out as she neared the large battleship; seeing the open landing pad door open and ready for her to enter made her whole-body shiver as she slowly cruised in before commanding it to land on the ground.

"Show time" Qyn whispered to herself when she landed on the battleship ready to play her part in the war and mission and she was going to play it perfectly; in her mind she thought only but not knowing how much deeper she'll dig herself in once she and Kylo actually spend time together.
