Unknown Force

Chapter 9

Qyn was the first to attack heading in straight on not thinking of a clear plan right now; all she needed to do was keep Kylo away from Rey and Finn who were behind them. Sparks flew with bright flashes when their sabers collided, Kylo blocked Qyn's attacks easily with how rash she was being with her attacks; but Qyn was just getting started with her attacks. 

Kylo blocked another one of her attacks, but she spun around like she was spinning on ice and cut Kylo on his right arm making him groan from the pain when he held his arm for a moment; turning back around to attack her they collided sabers once more, locking together in a strong hold when he pushed her against a tree pinning her against it.

"One day you'll realize that the choices you've made were pointless!!" Kylo spoke through greeted teeth when he locked eyes with Qyn, still pushing her against the tree.

"You don't know what choices, I had to make" she argued back through greeted teeth herself trying to push back with all her might.

Kylo twisted his saber to the right slightly letting the glowing hilt of his saber burn through her armor and right into her skin; Qyn shut her eyes from the pain and bit her lip hard until she drew blood when fighting through the pain, she has felt worse in her job, and she wasn't going to let Kylo hear her screams from the pain. 

Qyn fought through the pain when she brought her right leg up and kicked him hard where he was injured; he grunted when he backed off away from her but blocked her next attack when she spun around again trying to make some distance from him, but he somehow caught her wrist and pulled her towards him and headbutting her with his head making her nose bleed when she feel to the ground; breathing heavy from the fighting.

"Qyn, I got your back!" Finn shouted out when he somehow came over with another light saber to help Qyn take down Kylo.

"Don't!" she tried to warn him but it was too late.

Kylo blocked Finn's attack easily, ducking under and stepping behind him; swinging his saber at Finn letting his saber cut through Finn's leather coat and give him a deep gash on his back that made him grunt in pain and fall into the snow dropping the light saber he borrowed from Maz into the snow.

Kylo glanced over at the saber, holding out his free hand to summon the saber to him; Qyn could see it start to move and shake but she could tell it wasn't moving because of Kylo, seeing the saber fly it went right pass Kylo almost hitting him and pass Qyn. Turning to look behind her she saw the saber went straight to Rey, who was now standing. The sight shocked Qyn and angered Kylo to his breaking point.

Rey rushed over to Qyn helping her up to stand on her feet, seeing how terrible she looked with her bloody nose if not a broken one. But Qyn didn't let her bother her when she turned on her sabers again this time pulling them apart to wield both of them, Kylo turned on his saber once more ready to take on both of them.

"Rey, get Finn out of here and get to the falcon" Qyn said to Rey without breaking away from Kylo's eyes that seemed to burn her.

"I can fight" she tried to argue with her wanting to help her sister in anyway she could.

"Finn is losing blood and if you don't get him help, he will die; I will follow shortly" Qyn glanced back at Rey trying to talk some sense into her and plus she knew Rey didn't have the training like she did with a saber.

Rey sighed but knew she was right about Finn, he needed help right away and the falcon was somewhere beyond the hills from where they all stood; Qyn took a step forward and in a flash, she was in front of Kylo who was taken back by her sudden speed out of nowhere, Rey took off towards Finn and helped him up to his feet trying to move him.

Kylo swung at Qyn letting her duck under him letting his light saber cut through some trees that feel over by being cut down; Kylo noticed that Qyn was calmer letting her dodge more freely and swiftly while blocking his saber with her two sabers now. Somehow it infuriated him that she somehow had more skills than him and held some sort of calm yet cold manner among her now.

"You think about my choices, what about yours? Where have your choices led you?" Qyn spoke when once again blocking his attack and tossing him back like he was nothing, like she was a master scolding a student.

"Shut up! Don't act like you understand me!" Kylo shouted at her showing her uncontrollable rage hidden behind his gentle brown eyes.

She swiftly bent backwards when dodging his attack once more, coming back up she was right in front of him, face to face. It made him still for a moment when he locked eye with her, feeling her breath against his cold slightly sweat covered face; looking at her this closely up it made him feel things, things that he thought he was able to bury and seal away for good once changing to the dark side. Her purple eyes were speaking to him, like telling him a dark secret that her voice couldn't speak for itself; every breath she took that gently fanned against his face made his body shiver with some sort of delight, some sort of need that he couldn't understand.

"I know exactly what it feels like" she whispered loud enough for him to hear her over the chaos that surrounded them both, if he didn't know by the trance, he found himself in he could have sworn her lips gently grazed his like a ghost from the past.

The urge to stop fighting and kiss her was strong, but the sudden explosion from the base shook the whole planet and ground they stood on; they both tumbled apart and landed on the snow-covered ground. The moment that was a flicker of light between them was snuffed out by the trembling of the planet, standing up once more he ignited his saber once more looking at Qyn as she stood up herself taking hold of her mother's saber and ignited it keeping her father's saber on her left hip now.

 "Let's finish this" Kylo hissed out to her ready to finish their fight once and for all.

"As you wish" was all she said to him with an emotionless look on her face, but there was something about her eyes that screamed to Kylo; screamed to him to stop and look at himself for only a moment, if possible, to somehow save him from the person he was slowly becoming in front of her.
