Chapter 10: You Make Me Strong

Ashton Irwin's P.O.V.

"Hey mom.  How ya feeling," I ask as she walks into the kitchen.

"Guilty," she replies sitting down.

"Why is that?"  I hand her a cup of coffee.

"Because I drove you away from your mate.  I thought a lot last night.  Since you already met her and exchanged blood, you need her to survive and I'm pushing you guys away.  You told her yesterday you would come back tomorrow.  Today is that day.  Go to her.... And tell her I'm sorry."

"Really?"

"Really.  Go.  I'll be fine.  You need to patch things up with your mate."

So I go to her hpuse and get in her room through her window.

"Whoever is at my window.  Please leave before.  I ruin my relationship.  With you, too.   Because I'm so stupid," she says in between sobs.

I felt bad, I made her cry.  I get in her bed and cuddle into her.

"Hmm?"  She turns around and jumps out of the bed and onto the floor, me scaring her.

I crawl to the edge of the bed and stare down at her.

"Why are you crying?" I ask.

"I made you hate me," she sniffles.

"I could never hate you.  You mean too much to me," I say pulling her back on to bed.

"But, your mom means more to you.  And I didn't see that. I'm sorry," she pulls her hands away from mine.

"It's alright,"

Then her eyes turned white and she froze.  Then they turned back to blue and she smiles at me.

"What was it," I ask.

"Jessiemae.  She apologized,"

"Well that's good,"

"Yea,"

"This experience has made me want something,"

"What's that?"

          "Eternity with you,"

"What are you asking me?" she smiles.

"On the way here, I got this," pulling out a ring, "and I want you to marry me."

"I so do!!" she tackles me on her bed.

She looks at me and I look at her and we kiss.

"So baby hold on to my heart. Need you to keep me from falling apart. I'll always hold on. Cause you make me strong" Strong
