Graduation Day. It seems like the year went by so quickly.
Sitting myself up, I stretched and then started to get ready. Jordy already seemed to be awake. He was looking at himself in the mirror with a comb.
He combed and slicked his hair back, kissing and whistling at his own reflection. I furrowed my brows as I watched him.
The male just hummed, looking back over to me. "I'm so excited. I can't believe we're actually graduating." he said with a sigh, taking out his gown and putting it on.
Once we both were fully dressed, I looked at myself in the mirror as I tried putting my cap on. Huffing lightly. "I can't believe I have to give a speech." I muttered lightly.
Jordy made his way over, sitting himself on my bed as he looked over to me. "Can I tell you something? Before we go out there, Adam?" he asked me as he leaned his back against the wall.
"Tell me something?" I asked, a bit confused but just put my own gown on, sitting down
"Yeah." Jordy smiled, turning his body over to face me. "Yeah, I wanted... To have a talk with you today before we went out and... Y'know, graduated. Go to dinner. All that other stuff we planned."
I just nodded, crossing my arms over my chest and looked towards the blonde as if to tell him that I was listening. "Okay... Okay. What did you want to talk about?"
"I just... I wanted to say that you're my bestfriend. You've always been my bestfriend. Since I can remember." The blonde started, looking down and letting out a sigh.
"And since I can remember, you've always been... Sad." he admitted to me. "And sometimes, Adam..." he said, his eyes slightly watering. It was obvious that he was trying his hardest to hold them back. I frowned as I stared at him.
"There were times where I was really, really scared for you. Where I was really worried about you, man." Jordy said, his voice slightly breaking.
"Don't make me cry, Jordy." I said softly.
"And if I'm being completely honest, I would find it so hard to smile and pretend that it wasn't happening because I knew you needed someone... Happy." Jordy admitted to me. "I didn't wanna lose my bestfriend." he shrugged, looking back over to me.
"But... You've changed a lot. I see that. And I'm so proud of you, Adam." Jordy said then huffed in a proud way. "Just wanted to tell you that. Sorry."
I smiled towards him, shaking my head. "No, don't be sorry, man." I said as I hugged Jordy tightly then patted his back. "Come on, let's graduate."
In the hallway, lot's of other graduates started making their way out. Taking pictures of eachother in the hall. Infront of these little whiteboards right next to each of the doors. Where people would write random things, or just their names.
I looked around at all the decorations in the dorms. Smiling to myself. I was holding my speech in my hands, wearing a sash with the words 'Validictorian' on it.
He looked over to me and smiled. "We're totally graduating college as official cool people now." He said with a grin. "We're both dating, we both lost our virginities. And we went to a party for... 15 minutes. But, it was still fun!"
I grinned. "Yeah! Oh, God... What am I gonna do without you being my roommate now?" I asked with a sigh, earning a shake of the blonde's head.
"You'll be fine. It's me, who I'm worried about." He huffed. "What am I gonna do without you around all the time? Talk to myself?"
"You would, you psycho." I whispered to myself, though I couldn't help the smile on my face. Gosh, I really was going to miss him. But, I know we're still going to all see eachother as much as we possibly could.
