"Mom? Dad"? I called out as I walked down the hallway to my old house. The wooden floor creaked with each step I took.

The rooms were dark, cold, and didn't feel right. I should have known that it was to late for them to still be out. I wondered into the living room to see one lamp on, lighting up two white pieces of paper on the table. As i picked one up, the doorbell rang. I knew it was something bad as I seen flashing red and blue lights. As I opened the door, nobody was there, but I noticed someone in the street.

Guns were drawn out on the man on his knees, his hands behind his head.

"Ma'am please stay inside. There's been an accident". The officer yelled over.

"I'm just looking for my parents"! I yelled back and one officer ran over to me.

"I need a paramedic at 125 western avenue, I have a girl, about age eighteen, blonde hair, with alcohol poisoning". The officer spoke.

"No. I'm fine". I said but that's when two paramedics walked over and grabbed me

"No, please I'm fine. I just need to find my parents". I begged but nobody listened to me.

As I was carried to the ambulance and put on a Gurnee I started to panic. What the hell was going on?

"Its okay miss. We got ya". The lady smiled as she put the IV in my arm and walked off.

"Please, I'm okay, honestly. I need my parents"! I yelled.

Over the radios of the police and ambulance I could hear what was going on.

"Center highway we have a giant car pile up, accident from ice. The car is totaled. Two people inside, a man and woman, early fortys". Someone said.

The beeping next to me made me look up to see the machine that read all of my vitals going off.

"Honey you need to relax. You're okay". The lady spoke. I shook my head. I just needed to see my parents.

After another call the lady looked at me.  "Yes. I have the daughter". She said and held my hand.

I tried to get off the Gurnee but the paramedic wouldn't let me so all I could do was wait. I looked around to see that man, still sitting in the middle of the street on his knees, hands behind his head.

"No". I whispered.

That man, was the man that I trusted with my life.

I sat up gasping, practically holding my chest. What the hell was that dream? I turned to see Colson looking at me, his facial expression shocked.

"What"? I asked and wiped my forehead.

He shook his head. "Nothing. Are you okay"? He asked. Kind of seemed off now.

"That dream was something. I'm so out of it". I whispered and put my head in my hands.

I felt his hand on my back, soothing the stress for me. I'm happy that he can turn those emotions off.

"Want some tea"? He asked and I shook my head.

I turned to his light blue eyes and smiled. "I'm okay". I spoke and laid my head back down on the pillow.

But I had to ask.

"Colson"? I called over.

"Yes love"?

"If there was a issue that you knew about, you would tell me right?" I asked.

He paused for a second before placing his arm around me as he laid down.

"Of course". He spoke and kissed my shoulder.

I wasn't sure if the new souls coming around caused this. Colson has said before that, that's what they do. They get into your head, feeding you weird information to make you go crazy. I tried not to let that in.

"And you shouldn't. It's the souls, I promise you". He whispered.

I nodded but I couldn't just let this go. What were the two pieces of paper? Why was I in the ambulance? Where where my parents then? I couldn't sit here and let that dream get away from me so I got out of bed.

"What are you doing"? Colson asked as I walked over to his dresser and opened it.

I grabbed a notebook from the top drawer and a pen, walking back over to the bed.

"Angel, it's 4AM, please get some rest". He begged but I shook my head, I couldn't.

"I need to write thay dream down while it's still hot. If the souls are going to mess with me I need to be ontop with this". I spoke and wrote down the notes.

Colson sighed and laid back on his side and watched me. I knew he didn't like when I went agaisnt him, but this was important to me. All of this was. If I wanted answers I needed to start paying attention.
