I wanna talk about the crystal....

The crystal is a small, pink crystal that holds Colson's past life. This gives him the power to be up in the real world and down in hell at the same time, thats why hes able to be free with everything. Since he's ruler, the crystal gives full power to anybody, as long as the powder of the pink crystal is on their person. This could mean under their fingernails, in their hair, or on their clothes.

No it does not give superpowers or change anybody into a lost soul. It just gives them the power to be found.

The crystal protects anyone's thoughts, and helps them get stronger. Since angel is holding a part of that crystal in the underworld, Colson is able to track her every move, read her thoughts clearly and can see what she's seeing.

You'll read more about it in the next chapter!

Since Colson didn't tell the others that he carrys the other part it will make the plan alot easier as he tries to find her.
