Angel POV

Colson and I walked from the bar to the hotel. It took us nineteen minutes. At one point I was on his back when we reached twelve minutes. Now we wait in the lobby. Jaden told us that he would send Dom to us, and so far the late hours were setting me off. Why was I so agitated? So angry?

"Its a sign of grief". Colson whispered as he looked though a magazine.

"From my father"? I asked.

"From anything. Not gonna lie, your life sucks right now". He said and quickly looked at me.

"I am so sorry for that. I swear that wasn't what I was thinking". He spoke and I glared at him.

"Yeah? Why don't you tell me how you really feel"? I asked and crossed my arms.

"I would but you never let me get a word in". He hissed and then stood up. "Fuck"!

"Wow". I said and stood up to walk off but he grabbed me.

"Its not me. It's Dom, he's here". He said and pointed to the little coffee shop inside the hotel.

"Dom? He made you say that"? I asked.

"Dom has the ability to say things for someone. He messes with Pete constantly, that's why Summer can't stand him sometimes". He said.

"There's my lengthy blonde boy"! Someone yelled.

Dom walked over, Travis behind him. He gave me a smirk and sat down on the couch next to us.

"Travis? I thought you stayed back"? Colson asked.

"That was the plan, but Pete and Summer left with a bunch of souls, something about finding more". He said.

If Pete and Summer get hurt this would be my fault. I looked up to see Colson looking at me, shaking his head.

"Well, I couldn't stop them. That and Greg pissed Pete off". He spoke, a small chuckle escaping his lips.

"I always wondered why he dispised him"? Dom asked.

"Well, one time Pete was on a date and-"

"Okay stop. Let's go". Colson interrupted and grabbed my hand, walking to the elevator.

"You're bringing her? She'll ruin it". Dom said as he caught up.

Colson groaned. "If I don't bring her then Kells will know where to look. He can't track her if she's with me".

Nobody spoke a word after that. Some of them knew what Colson was going through, but the other part of me wanted to know more about what was actually going on. Were these souls out to get just me? Or were they out to get Colson and what he's known for. Even though he claims he doesn't have heart, there is one buried deep down.

"Shut it". Colson chuckled as he turned to me and we got out of the elevator.

"Well, get some shut eye, tomorrow is a new day". Dom winked and both him and Travis walked down the hall.

I woke up in the middle of the night, only to see Colson sitting by the window. His phone clenched in his hands. The red glow from his eyes appearing in the window. I never woke up to this side of him.

"Go back to sleep". He mumbled.

"Are you okay"? I asked.

He laughed under his breath as he stood up. A glass of some dark brown liquid on ice. He glanced down and took the rest of it and set the glass down.

"You're eyes are red. What happened"? I asked.

He shook his head and walked over to the other side of the bed and sat down. As he took his black boots off he turned to me.

"I found out something a while back, but I'm not sure if you wanna know". He whispered.

I sat up and crawled over to him, putting my arms around his neck.

"Please. We promised one another to he honest". I whispered.

He sighed and got one boot off, going to the next one. A few moments of silence passed before he turned to me.

"The night of your parents accident. You were at a party, right"? He asked.

I nodded. "Yes".

"What time did you leave, if you remember"? He asked, this time facing me completely.

"Around midnight, but I never left the house myself, the ambulance took me". I spoke.

Where was he getting at with this?

"You're parents left that party they were at around the same time the ambulance got to you. I was there". He cleared his throat.

"You were there"? I questioned, only for him to put his hand up to quiet me.

"The devil sees all darling. I was there for another person who committed a sin just hours before that".

I felt the shivers rush down my spine as he spoke to me. This was Luke a scary dream, but all in reality.

"What sin"? I asked.

His eyes turned a darker red as he sat up walked the room.

"The drinks that were given to you were spiked. One of the boys there wanted to show you a good time, without being seen, I solved the problem but it was to late for you". He sighed.

"What are you trying to say Colson"? I asked.

He chuckled to himself an sat back down on the bed.

"I know what happened to your parents that night, and with Summer."

This time his eyes went black as he got closer to me. I quickly got out of bed and rushed over to the door but he wad faster.

"Colson you're scaring me". I winced as he grabbed my shoulders.

Before I knew it, the face of Colson wasn't him, it was the picture I seen that Colson showed me. I felt Kells hand wrap around my throat and pushed me up against the door.

"K-Kells"? I whimpered and he gave me a smile.

"Hi sweetheart. Miss me"? He grinned and in seconds I was thrown to the ground.
