The bar was busy tonight. Haley and I decided to help each other out to make things go faster. I looked over to see Rook filling beer glasses, Pete was doing shots and I was setting up clean glasses.
"Hey can you run back and grab some of the mini shot glasses"? Rook asked as he turned to me.
I looked up and nodded then walked back. I spotted the glasses and reached up. Someone pulled me back against them and I smiled but that went away when I looked down to see no tattoos, or rings. I quickly stepped back and turned to see some man standing there.
"What the hell"? I hissed and stepped back more.
He didn't say anything, he just stood there. It freaked me out enough where I walked off but he followed slowly. His pale face, teeth that looked painted on, but underneath his eyes were black. As I ran out to the front I handed Rook the shot glasses and grabbed Pete.
"Hey, hands off". He said and I grabbed him.
"Where's Kells"? I asked.
He looked around and shrugged. "Probably not here yet. Why"?
I pointed to the guy that was standing behind the curtain, half of it showing his face.
"What? The curtain"? Pete asked.
"No. The person behind the curtain". I whispered.
Pete turned to touch my forehead as he sighed. "You're not warm". He spoke and I hit his hands away.
"You don't see him"? I asked.
He turned back to the curtain again and shook his head. "No. Wait, are you drinking again"? He asked and I rolled my eyes.
I turned back to see the man was gone, just leaving me on edge. I reached into my pocket and called Colson but when hands wrapped around me again I flinched.
"What's wrong"? Colson asked.
I pointed to the back and dragged him with me. That's when he started to laugh.
"How is this funny? I'm fucking scared". I said.
Colson walked further back to check around and then walked over to me.
"I know. Your blood pressure was got me, I didn't see what you seen. I can't do much with that".
"Colson, this guy wrapped his arms around me, didn't say a word and then followed me out to the front. When I told Pete he left".
He glanced around again and pointed to the camera. "I'll check it from my office. Cmon". He said.
His office? I didn't know he had an office here. We walked up a few steps and around the corner there was a red door. He grabbed his keys and opened the door in seconds.
"I didn't know you had this up here". I whispered as I walked in and he shut the door
"Yeah, I try not to bring anybody up here unless it's for business. Or in your case pleasure". He smirked.
I smacked his arm as he laughed it off and walked over to the computer. He say down and clicked on a few things, then pulled up the camera icon. As we watched the video I was shocked that the man didn't show up on screen. I pulled at my hair and sat on his desk.
"Try thinking of his face. I'll see of I can read you"? He suggested.
I sighed and shut my eyes, trying to picture him. I grabbed a hold of his arm as his face came back to view. Colson hissed as he stood up and grabbed my face.
"I know him". He said.
"Colson"? I questioned and he didn't look up from the paper that sat infront of him.
"Colson"! I asked, more afraid.
Once he came too, He ran over to his cabinet and grabbed something from it.
"Colson please". I begged and he walked back over, handing me the item.
I looked down, a picture now in front of me.
"Who is this"? I asked.
He cleared his throat. Not sure of he should speak or not. He shook his head and walked back over to his desk.
"Its my son".

*Hours passed as Colson and i sat up in his office. I looked over once again to see his head in his hands.
"Why does he look like that"? I asked.
He looked up at me, his eyes a light pink. He was getting angry.
"He looks like that because that asshole before me put him in as a lost soul and forgot about him. He never put his soul into another". He hissed.
He got up and kicked the leg of the chair, breaking it down in seconds.
I stood up and went to walk out but he stopped me.
"I'm sorry Colson but I feel like asking questions about your son will only set you off. I don't want to be the reason for the bar to collapse from you breaking it". I said
He shook his head and pulled me into him.
"I'm sorry, I'll calm down". He whispered.
As I clenched onto him all I can do is picture that person, do i call him a person? I pulled away and stepped back quickly.
"I'm going down to the bar. I have another hour until my shift ends". I whispered.
I just didn't want to be around angry Colson. He claims that he'll calm down but one wrong word will set him off again and I couldn't handle that.
As I made my way down the steps a sudden cold breeze flew past my legs and up my arms. There, at the bottom of the steps stood the same man. I held onto the railing, pleading that he would just go. I can't have Colson see him.
The man looked up at me and gave me a smile as he set something down on the banister top, then vanished. I looked up at the steps to make sure Colson wasn't there and then down to the small object. I grabbed it and walked out to the main part of the bar, past Pete and Rook as they cleaned up.
"Where ya off to"? Travis asked as he wiped out the shot glasses.
"I'm not feeling well. Tell Kells I went home".
There was no other way than to lie at this point. Well that, and to keep my heart rate down so Colson doesn't come running. If he's angry, then I'll get to the bottom of it. I glanced down at the box, surprised at what I had seen. I reached down and picked up the small piece of the pink crystal from the box he left me.
